My dad has been in the hospital since Thursday for an intussusception, a “telescoping intestine”. He had surgery on Friday. My dad is the strongest man I know. He beat kidney cancer a decade ago, was diagnosed with Crohn’s 5 years ago, and less than 2 years ago was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He never once let any of those hold him back. Today, he gets to go home!
