At the same point to many people stop talking about how bad things are getting and that is a detriment to the whole. We need to be talking we need to bring back true debating. Not the fragile egos of today.
And just wait now when people call him out that he has been the one saying gas prices haven't gone up or weren't going up he's just gonna blame it on someone else and deflect blame while saying everythings gonna be just fine while actively making everything worse like he has been
Monetizable things I can do with my truck! Go! I've been thinking about trying that the turning your truck into an ad thing. Has anyone tried that before? If not that I've been debating trying to go around mowing lawns and doing general yard work but without a trailer thats tough
Well in the last month I've gotten gone with fack i think its 7 but for sure 6 @bootdotdev chapters. I've managed to get responses for the first time when I made posts about scrap metal locally so hopefully they will tell their friends and i slept well. It's been a good day.
Both of my kids have been extensively explained/warned about the risks of the road but if there is no one around to keep them attentive they'd walk right out into 8 lane highway traffic without a second of hesitation. And if you really believe it isnt common go hang with kids.
If economically reasonable means its easier to control everything all pf a sudden sure. Otherwise this is just another executive gaslighting people so they get what they want which is control over everything and all the money too.
Personally I think reverse it. Okay you want a big expensive wedding. But a secure home is way more important andddd could allow for an income increase that would lower the timeline of how long the wedding would have to be saved for.
Overheard a couple in their late 20s having an intense argument at an airport lounge yesterday.
They have $60,000 saved up between them.
The guy wants to put $50,000 toward a down payment on a duplex to lock in housing security before starting a family, and spend $10,000 on an intimate backyard wedding with close friends and family.
She refused: “I am only getting married once. A $10,000 wedding looks cheap on social media, and I’m not serving tacos in someone’s lawn. We need a proper venue, videographer, and open bar for 150 guests. We can rent for another two years.”
He looked completely exhausted: “You want us to burn four years of combined savings on an 8-hour party to impress people we talk to twice a year?”
Her reply: “If you loved me, you wouldn't make me negotiate down the one day I’ve dreamed about since I was eight.”
Rent for 2 more years to give her the dream wedding, or is this an immediate dealbreaker?
