I went through a really strange phase of my life and really asked myself what I wanted to do. I think I've figured it out. This is a very short film I made all by myself. instagram.com/giorgiomarango…

Damn, I should've placed a bet cause I said "this guy could be the next James Bond" when I watched the first episode of Slow Horses back in 2022.
Jack Lowden is being “strongly considered” to play the next James Bond. (Source: podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…)

A lot of people have been throwing around the term “Technicolor” lately, often in reference to this shot in Dune: Part 3. And while this shot is awesome, it definitely doesn’t have a traditional 3-Strip / Technicolor look, and wasn’t intended to. Real Technicolor films (like The Wizard Oz) were captured on special camera systems that used a prism beam splitter to isolate red, green, and blue light. Each color was then exposed to a different black and white film stock, which were later dyed cyan, magenta, and yellow and then combined together to create a full color effect. Shots became highly saturated with deep reds and subtle contrast. I simulated this process digitally on this shot by splitting apart the red, green, and blue channels and then re-combining in DaVinci Resolve, with some other finishing touches. This yields a very different look than the official grade, which is just beautifully shot footage by DP Linus Sandgren.

Lmao, I love this. Not just because I love his music, but also knowing who she is playing won't change my experience with the movie. Go enjoy it, we already knew who she was months ago.
Steve Lacy accidentally spoiled who Sadie Sink is playing in ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’ at the film's premiere.

The Odyssey is a solid movie, with great performances, incredible cinematography and score. Some scenes are so unsettling and grotesque that everything verges into the horror genre. Fight scenes are still my biggest issue with Nolan's directing. #TheOdyssey #Nolan

Everyone over here talking about Batman and Wonder Woman but this really is shaping up to be the next film to shoot after Man of Tomorrow. I have an article coming soon on all the details I have on it

This movie doesn't deserve this, tbh. It's way better than Morbius and a lot of other cbm. At this point there's definitely an issue with DC characters. General audience is not into them as much as I thought. I hope things will change, tho.
‘SUPERGIRL’ opens with $38M domestically. • Lower opening weekend than ‘Morbius’ and ‘The Marvels’. Read our review: bit.ly/SupergirlDF

I remember that during 'Days of Heaven' production, Malick and cinematographer Nestor Almendros purposely decided to film during magic/golden hour. It's a very common choice actually, even when it's not necessarily funcional to the emotion of the scene.

A few shots from what is considered one of the finest examples of cinematography in the history of cinema.

SUPERGIRL is a perfectly fine and enjoyable film, but some of these critics are acting like the movie is the worst sin committed to film. It's not.

Well, this adds more to what I thought was the reason behind that choice in the end. I would've left this.
Krem's cut backstory in 'Supergirl' focused on how he faced an upbringing of child abuse that he believed made him stronger He threatened to make Ruthye his wife, following the pattern of abuse (@Danimalish)

I watched #Supergirl and these are my two cents. I'm going to start the thread by saying that Woman of Tomorrow is my favorite comic book story along with Superman for All Seasons and Batman: Year One, so this is going to be a long 🧵

Supergirl acts in a way for the whole movie and she suddenly becomes someone else in a matter of 10 seconds. And this thing doesn't change her in anyway, not to say it was also pretty useless. I really wonder what happened.

This doesn't ruin the rest of the movie for me tho. I think it's enjoyable and the things I really liked from it really moved me. And I'm a grown man, probably not the first target you can think of from this movie. But I mean, I guess this is the beauty of cinema.
