I agree with this. I know the founders. These guys never stop building. They cut through all the bullshit, analyze what's going on in the markets, and build to accommodate. Significantly undervalued project.

Still thinking, no opinion on it other than it is interesting.

Nicely done @HotKeySwap team! Adoption for Bittensor #EVM is still in its early days, but it having a #dTAO option is a vital step forward. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

We would genuinely love to have a conversation to help @opentensor find a solution and get Subtensor EVM working. We’re open to collaborating and sharing ideas to help resolve the challenges they’re facing.
We have found a critical bug in the Bittensor EVM deployment whereby whatever you set as gas limit is consumed as gas spend.
Every EVM dapp, developer, and wallet works under the assumption that unused gas is refunded. All developer tooling also assumes this (such as hardhat, which you have in docs). The most popular wallets do their own gas estimate and then increase it by 50% by default, for example.
Unfortunately in this deployment the gas limit acts as the amount that is consumed no matter how much the transaction would have consumed. Given the lack of clear documentation on the EVM implementation and barely functional block explorer, its not quite clear where exactly this gas gets sent to.
Its insane that something so simple has made it into a production environment. This is an active bug that everyone using the EVM for any purpose will suffer from.
Disclosed this to @opentensor but they are "too busy working on rao" to care - might be able to look at it in a few days and see if there is an issue. Great response guys. 🤡 Insane that such a high priority major rollout is done in such a rushed manner with little to no basic testing first - and they had the cheek to ask why we were "testing on mainnet" - why are you testing on mainnet @const_reborn???
Furthermore, there seems to be another serious gas estimation issue that is compounding this. For example, there are 5-6 Wrapped TAO contracts that have been deployed, in all of these the standard eth_gasEstimate estimates gas consumption of 10x all the way up to the full block limit, when it should be one of the cheapest transactions. This issue is present in the wTAO contracts utilised by the two DEXes that have publicly announced and deployed on mainnet with frontends - tagging @HotKeySwap as you may want to look at this and probably want to close down your frontend on Bittensor to save user funds until this is patched. Same for any other dapps that are currently live (@CryptoEternalAI / @punk3700 / @taobnk / @TensorplexLabs not sure where you are all at with deployments?).
I'd suggest that everyone refrain from using the EVM implementation and any dapps built on top of it until this is fixed. Would appreciate if people could tag other live dapps and share to save users from burning through funds in the meantime.
Still want to argue that this isn't rushed and how wonderful the barely functional block explorer is @mogmachine or you're willing to admit this is a total shitshow now?
Ashamed to be a $TAO bagholder here - the @opentensor dev team are still operating like this is a $10m MC shitcoin, not the leading DeAI project in the space.

Looks like $Hotkey is waking up again
Team has filtered out the noise and fud and continued building and delivering
Ath was over 20m, fell to 500k, now back over 1m. Many new wallets accumulating
- Used to have 5/5 buy and sell tax (for revenue) - now permanently removed to 0 - full supply now circulating and added to the v3 Lp
- Came up with the @TAOevm idea many months ago prior to Bittensor, didn’t get support on the idea - was actually fudded out of it and was told it was stupid and unnecessary - few months later $tao make their own (hotkey launched and delivered yet got no support from the foundation, just labelled scammers instead by the community)
- launched the dex v2 as part of the roadmap
- now instead of continually trying to battle against $tao even though they just wanted to build on the ecosystem - they have now just bridged their dex onto the Bittensor EVM making it the first actual working dex on the chain (which wasn’t too straight forward as Tao didn’t launch a explorer with their evm immediately, had quite a few
Missing pieces)
In theory (hopefully @const_reborn will support and explore their dex) instead of just making another one - the team is aiming to cater for Tao/dtao swapping and even move their launch pad onto the evm also (hotcurves) which can act like a pump.fun - safe project creation
The team continues to invest thousands of $ and hours in the bittensor ecosystem, even after all the hate and fud just because they have a token on the market and figured they were just leeching off the Tao name (people viewed them as an undelivering team yet they continued to prove people wrong)
Now people are gradually taking notice of the team and devs continually trying to engage and seek collaboration on the discord to have some form of support for their work and what they can bring / add to the ecosystem
Time will tell but it’s good to see teams that battle against all odds and continue to deliver
Remember hotkey has no VCs / self funded from 9 eth, created everything organically and scaled naturally
Credit to them tbh and I hope the market sees this too
