Utah up to No. 6 in the latest AP poll.

Analysis: No. 10 Utes sit alone atop Big 12 after statement win over No. 14 Houston deseret.com/sports/2026/10/2…

Good night from Rice-Eccles. The next game played here:

FINAL: No. 10 Utah 21, No. 14 Houston 13 Utah gets a statement win and is alone at the top of the Big 12. It wasn’t always pretty, but holding this Houston offense to 13 points is extremely impressive. Utes 7-0 heading into another big game at Cincinnati next week.

The bend but don’t break defense was masterful today for Utah. So many clutch stops in the red zone.

Utah gets the stop on fourth down

For all the marbles….

This one is not over. Big pass for Houston gets the ball to the Utah 23

Looks like Houston got the first.

Two-minute timeout. Third and 9 after the timeout

Touchdown, Devon Dampier. Utah 21, Houston 13. Missed first half FG looms large, but Houston needs eight to tie this one up.

Jackson Bennee with the massive sack

How about that???? Utah finally gets to the QB in the most pivotal time, forcing a fumble in the Houston 10 yard line.

Utah maybe played that drive a tad too conservative, but after Dampier’s pick last drive, it’s understandable. Defense will be counted on one last time.
