#Altrincham Vs #NottsCounty Preview! 📝
The First Round of the @EmiratesFACup is finally here, and what a matchup we have this evening!
Alty are known as the 'Giant Killers' due to their previous success in the #FACup, but can they claim another scalp tonight?
[Thread 🧵]
Key Player (Notts County): Rory Finneran
At only 18, Finneran has caught the eye of many onlookers this season.
Having come on loan from Newcastle, the young CM looks extremely assured in the middle of the park, registering a goal and two assists this season.
VERY frustrating evening for #Altrincham 😤
Given the injuries in attack, performances like this are more likely, but the chances were there to win it.
Although Alty’s league position is still positive despite a hard run of fixtures, playoffs rely on those games being won 🤷♂️
Competitive first half at Alty, but a lack of confidence in the final third from both 🤷♂️
Although the general play has been decent, #Altrincham clearly missing their starting forwards’ quality in dangerous areas 🎯
#KHFC remaining solid and delivering a strong away performance
Thoroughly deserved @NeilGibson22! 🏆
Altrincham are playing some excellent football, and the results (+ now accolades) are there to back up what a great job Neil is doing 🙌
Hopefully #Altrincham can keep it up and have a huge #NationalLeague season 🙏

Will also performs very well in defensive 1v1 situations.
He reads the game well, doesn't jump in too early and uses his pace to keep opposition forwards away from dangerous areas.
Together with Ernie Weaver, SWFC's right-hand side of defence is very competent 🚫
