Replying to @MrMekzy_
I overheard a conversation between two women. One of them I moved in with to help with her disabled husband. The other warned her that I could be a criminal. I got down on my knees in prayer and told God what they said about me. I told God "I did good to her, but she returned evil". The following morning, while I was in the kitchen, the lady I was helping ran out of her bedroom into the living room while screaming, "HELP ME! I AM BEING TORMENTED BY GOD! While pulling her hair out. I encouraged her to calm down and that everything would be alright. She turned to me in anger and yelled, "YOU! YOU ARE THE REASON I AM BEING TORMENTED BY GOD! God said you did good to me, but I returned evil. She begged me to forgive her. I forgave her, then the torment stopped.

God's Daily Promise
Those who overcome will not be hurt by the second death.
Revelation 2:11 (WEB)
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.
We have a fantastic future in store for us! We do not have to fear judgment because Jesus promises that the second death will not hurt those who overcome. When I think of this promise, I think of the verse in 1 Corinthians 15:55 that says... "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (NIV)
Praise God that death no longer has a sting over us! We don't have to live in fear of death because our Elder Brother Jesus has conquered death and sin and the grave once and for all. Another Bible verse that comes to mind is from Hebrews 2:14-15...
14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. (ESV)
Jesus has destroyed the one who once held the power of death so that we can experience true life and freedom from the fear of death! To echo again the words of 1 Corinthians 15:55... "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (NIV)
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise You because You are Loving, Caring, Faithful and True. Thank You for asking me to come to you with all of my concerns because You care about me. Please hear my prayer, forgive my sins and I bless Your Holy Name.
As I age, I am constantly reminded, O God, of my transitory stay on earth and your eternal reign in heaven. Please give me the proper sense of my place before you as I seek your will in your Word, the Scriptures.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Temporary pain leads to eternal glory because the God of all grace personally restores, confirms, strengthens, and establishes His people.

Strong and Courageous
God has not forgotten you. Your waiting isn't wasted.
October 28, 2026
Psalms 27:13-14
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord” (Ps. 27:14). Remarkably, these encouraging words occur at the end of a psalm that spoke of David’s enemies, fears, and sense of abandonment. How interesting that he could conclude with a determined command to himself: “Wait.”
Waiting is one of the hardest things we do as believers. It’s easy to think of waiting as passivity—in other words, as empty time, when nothing is happening. But the waiting David describes is something else entirely: active trust. It’s the soul’s refusal to give up on God when the answer hasn’t come, the door hasn’t opened, the healing hasn’t arrived. It’s choosing, in the middle of the silence, to believe the Lord is still good and still near.
Most of us aren’t just waiting for small things. We’re longing for a relationship to heal, a child to return, a diagnosis to change, a hope to come to life. In that kind of waiting, the temptation isn’t merely impatience; it’s discouragement—the slow erosion of belief that God is at work.
That’s why Scripture urges us to be strong and have courage. God hasn’t forgotten (Isaiah 49:15-16). The waiting isn’t wasted. We simply keep looking for Him.

Father, thank You that I no longer need to fear death because of the glorious victory Jesus secured for me. May hope rise in my heart today as I reflect on the bright future I have—living forever in Your loving presence, where You will wipe away every tear I have ever shed.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
