Tonight’s outcome isn’t about placing faith in Democrats or socialist principles; it’s about holding Republicans accountable for betraying their promises.
All Republicans had to do was:
1. put Americans First
2. not start another war
3. prosecute sex traffickers

Ron DeSantis is one of the first (and only) Republican governors to call it straight to Trump on the Iran war.
He pointed out the obvious: Trump ran on no more Middle East wars, yet here we are in an open-ended Iran conflict that none of his base or voters signed up for. Working-class Americans are now directly paying for it through higher gas prices and worse affordability. That’s just a fact.
DeSantis said if you can’t admit the economic hit to voters, you’re gaslighting them—and they won’t listen to you on anything else. Honesty from politicians matters. Say the truth.
Even the cowboys in Fort Worth voting blue. MAGA is dead

Trump’s biggest betrayal to the American people isn’t what he failed to do. It’s what he promised NOT to do… and did anyway.
We gave President Trump our support, we gave him our money, we gave him our vote, we gave him our time and we got behind him publicly and he didn't deliver.
President Trump only delivered for his rich, powerful elite friends who are part of the Epstein class. He delivered for his high dollar donors, big tech friends, for foreign countries and foreign wars.
Americans are fed up with it.

Trump launched an unpopular and pointless war. Gas prices are too high. People can’t afford groceries. Trump abandoned the American First message. This is why Republicans are getting crushed. It’s very simple.

Replying to @elonmusk
What’s coming was avoidable, but Republicans in Congress let Trump start a war, increase spending, arm a genocide, betray MAHA, and cover up for Epstein’s coconspirators. I was ousted with over $30 million of foreign lobby money for refusing to go along, and here we are.

This is why we call it the “Pilot In Command”
This happened in the same vicinity where the ill-fated Lear Jet hit the storm cell.
JetBlue pilot en route from Fort Lauderdale to Austin says to ATC:
“So you're gonna make us go through a, uh, severe thunderstorm?”
The captain then commanded the situation and overrode the ATC:
“So we declare an emergency, making a left turn heading 260 for severe weather avoidance.”
Sometimes piloting demands a specific set of traits - decisiveness, independent judgment, and the backbone to reject an instruction when it doesn’t feel right.
Refusing the assigned heading showed exactly that kind of assertive leadership.
Whoever is pilot monitoring must make these tough calls but ultimately, the captain is the final authority and ultimately accountable for every soul on board.
Heart breaking tragedy. The audio is devastating
At the end of the day, the pilots screwed up and entered the gauntlet of the storm systems, which cost a family and their friend's lives. People can debate DEI or not.
People can talk about the "heroics" of the co-pilot's communications... but this wouldn't have happened if they had fully diverted away from the storm system, instead of trying to cut through a corridor to the Bahamas.
The arrogance of the flight crew to think that a Learjet, known for ice-related aerodynamic problems, can handle a Floridian unpredictable mess of storms is just crazy. Storms grow rapidly inside the system and can easily tear a plane like a Learjet apart. As soon as she said "clear light ice," that was already inching close to disaster... at that point it should have been a clear emergency scenario even before entering the final storm cell.
If they had followed the rule of maintaining at least 20 miles from the storm's edge, they could have been fine, just arrived late.
The male pilot had non-continuous employment, and his actual total experience is questionable. The female young co-pilot was only 20... depth of experience is just not a "thing" at that age.
That decision to enter that storm system is what killed innocent lives, and no amount of "glazing" the female pilot, or blaming the male pilot, changes that. It was still a joint decision by the flight crew.
