Rod Humphris, landlord of The Raven pub in Bath, who threw out Keir Starmer and his drinking buddy Labour MP Dan Norris was an extremely good judge of character. This incident occurred on April 19 2021 during a campaign visit by the two men in support of Norris as Metro Mayor.

Someone has to pay for the Church of England’s £100m ‘reparations’
Whole country full of people making sacrifices like this - but the leadership want to give away £100m in slavery "reparations" so they can grandstand - very poor.

Walker: "I nearly bought a wool jumper in town. £140. Nice work if you can get it." Farmer: "I got about £2 for the fleece." Walker: "£2?" Farmer: "Per sheep, per year. Clipped it off her in two minutes, rolled it, bagged it, drove it to the depot. The cheque for the whole flock didn't cover the diesel." Walker: "Then who's getting the £140?" Farmer: "Not me, not the shearer. He costs me more per sheep than the wool fetches. I pay to have it taken off." Walker: "So you lose money shearing." Farmer: "Every year. And I can't not shear, or she cooks in July and the flies eat her alive. The wool's a welfare job that used to be an income." Walker: "Sell it yourself, then. Cut out the middleman." Farmer: "Not allowed. By law it goes through the board. Has done since 1950. I can keep a fleece for the wife to knit with, and that's about the extent of my freedom." Walker: "So where does it go?" Farmer: "Washed in Bradford, if we're lucky. Shipped to China, spun, knitted, shipped back, and sold to you with a label about heritage. By the time it's in the window there are eleven people between us and I'm the only one who met the sheep." Walker: "That's mad." Farmer: "My grandfather paid the rent on the wool cheque. I pay a man to take it away. Same sheep, same hill, same jumper in the window. Only the price of the farmer went down." Walker: "What would fix it?" Farmer: "You buying the jumper. And asking them where the other £138 went."

Well said again, John Perry
It's about time the BBC was called out for promoting extreme left-wing views. Surely it's time to scrap the BBC tax and let its left-wing supporters pay a subscription to watch their propaganda.

Worth watching. Barrister Flora Page represents sub-postmasters still fighting for justice. Heather Earley died waiting. Others are still waiting. Settled on paper isn't put right.

What happened to defence lawyers Paul Marshall and Flora Page was both disgraceful and very similar to what happened to me and @SaraLiseHowe and me - when we were exposing the terrible miscarriages of justice caused by the RSPCA’s appalling private prosecutions department.

Well said again, David Reed - we all know which enemy state was responsible for that cyber attack. Labour’s pathetic attempts at a cover-up serve only to confirm it.
Labour tells the British public to stock up on tinned food and wind-up radios to prepare for cyberattacks. Yet after the devastating attack on JLR, estimated to have cost up to £2.1 BILLION, the Government still hasn’t publicly named those responsible. How can Britain deter hostile states if we won’t name those attacking us? The British public deserve answers. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Remember the days not so long ago when you didn’t have to worry about whether NESO knew what it was doing? They admitted yesterday that they do not prioritise grid safety over net zero. And people will die in a winter blackout.

This is what happens when someone unblocks a road drain. The flood water disappears. It’s a shame that so many local councils can’t be arsed to do this. UK councils have received over 1 million reports of blocked drains since 2013

Labour said they had no choice but to let thousands of dangerous prisoners out. My questions expose the truth. Many cells are out of use because of vandalism, wasteful projects, and even bedbugs. But some repairs won’t happen until 2031. This is Labour’s prisons crisis.
