Jacob Misiorowski went 5 innings and surrendered just 1 run. He only struck out 3 batters, but still earned the win in the Brewers' 3-2 Game 1 World Series victory.
Here's what he said of his performance on the broadcast after game: "Not perfect, good enough to get a win."
The #Guardians were defeated in the ALCS last night. Obviously a lot of frustration for fans of the team. The good news is that Cleveland has a future star in Chase DeLauter.
He quietly had a strong rookie season and continued to swing the bat well in the postseason.
Just a really good hitter. Doesn’t trade average for power but still offers home run potential from left side of plate. Works quality at-bats.

Cade Smith, after giving up a HR to Junior Caminero then watching him take his time around the bases while celebrating in an exaggerated manner: “It's not my style but I guess if I don’t like it, I shouldn’t give up home runs.”
The Guardians are having an absolutely elite performance when it comes to flying out to fairly deep right or center field.
They have also been impressive at stranding as many runners on base as possible. Truly impressive. Difficult to do.
The Guardians’ current circumstances aren’t ideal. However, I’d argue for THIS Guards team, they are in the perfect position.

Stephen Vogt trusts Matt Festa for a second inning of work… Yandy Diaz hits a two-run home run to give the Rays a 7-3 lead.
This isn’t some regular season game. Not good managing from Vogt here.

Gavin Williams was removed at 70 pitches. Lauren Shehadi reported she asked the Guardians' dugout if he's alright. Answer was yes. Cleveland removing him was reportedly a strategic move as opposed to any kind of injury concern.
