According to the 2023–24 Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey, the modern contraceptive prevalence rate among married women in Nigeria sits at just 15%, compared to 38% among sexually active unmarried women. Implants account for only 6% of modern contraceptive use among

See the displacement is crazy! 2 years ago, I participated in a research spanning 5 LGAs in Plateau and what we saw! Bladi and Riyom were worse! Some places the only proof a community was once there was word of mouth, even the foundations had erased.

In Plateau State, Nigeria, violent attacks are the stark reality for most residents in rural communities, forcing thousands of families into overcrowded IDP camps, surviving on dwindling charity, and sleeping on thin mats.
The human cost of this crisis is devastating, leaving survivors trapped between the trauma of the past and an uncertain future.
Ajifa Solomon's (@JournoJiva) investigation, commissioned by the CJID, highlights that while conflict in Plateau State has been largely oversimplified as competition over land and water amid climate change, the crisis has evolved into a far more complex situation, involving armed groups, ethnic tensions, weak security responses, religious tension, and cycles of reprisal attacks.
