Everything was just better back then, we have forgotten what a good night out was, every Friday and Saturday, Coconut or Paradise, just look at the ques to get in, extended hours ruined nightclubs and pubs in general, when the bars closed you went to a club.
All these young people having a great night, not full of security, a few knob heads were guaranteed but soon dealt with and ejected, a few ecstasy tabs going around but not everybody powdered up and paranoid looking for trouble, you would often bump into Derby players and tv stars, people actually used to travel in from all over the midlands for Derbys nightlife.
Showing my age 😂
Good days, even better nights !

RIP Gordon Guthrie.
Another one missed by @dcfcofficial, ten years yesterday since we lost one of the clubs most loyal servants.
Gordon, who was 86, had been associated with the club for over six decades.
He was a hugely popular figure amongst both staff members and supporters during Derby’s time at both the Baseball Ground and also Pride Park
In 2009 he was awarded the Merit Award by the Derby County Past Players Association, as well as collecting an MBE on Queen’s Honours List for his services to football.
In 2013, Derby unveiled the Gordon Guthrie Stand at the Stadium in recognition for his services to the club.
Gordon’s footballing career was prematurely brought to an end due to injury and he became a club physiotherapist/trainer, before moving into kit duties, serving over a dozen managers, including Brian Clough during Derby's glory days in the top flight of English football.

Aston Villa is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former player and 1961 League Cup winner Harry Burrows, who has died at the age of 85.
The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Harry's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Today, my Dad and I should have been in Salzburg watching our beloved Aston Villa play in the Super Cup.
Being absent today breaks my heart, but following his sudden passing, I just couldn't make the journey without him by my side.
Like many, we’ve travelled near and far following the Villa together, and seeing us lift Europa League, in our last game together, is something I will hold onto for the rest of my life.
Thanks for everything Dad, RIP 💔

Gordon Cowans in a cracking Aston Villa kit.
2 footed, an elegant midfielder who wasn’t afraid to get stuck in.
Played 453 games for the club, scoring 49 goals.
Won nearly everything with the club. True legend.
