I was tested positive for H.pylori few months ago. I have been having nauseous feeling anytime I eat certain food for over 10 years and each time this feeling comes I take worm medication and it subsides but it comes back after awhile.
Fee months ago it came back and was worse and it dawned on me that this is not ordinary worm issue.
I booked an appointment with my G.P and I did a test which confirmed h.pylori positive.
I was prescribed with the triple therapy
• Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) / Acid-Lowering Drug: Reduces stomach acid so the antibiotics can work effectively (such as omeprazole, lansoprazole, or esomeprazole).
• Antibiotic 1: Usually amoxicillin (or metronidazole if you have a penicillin allergy).
• Antibiotic 2: Usually clarithromycin (or metronidazole).

This is all the drugs I have been on for almost a month now, a doctor prescribed this for me when I showed him my positive h.pylori result..there is no improvement at all..been adviced to go for endoscopy...the price I was being quoted literally messed up my mind, 250k for upper and lower endoscopy...crazy...I know some people will say I got enough donations to fight it earlier this month, but you nobody will believe the 500,000 @thissdax sent to me, the person account I used in receiving the money since my opay is on tier 2...the person stopped line has been switched off, sent someone to her home in delta state but they didn't meet her at home...this is someone I thought I could trust (mind you this is supposed to be a family member) but It's well, I am not asking for further support...just putting this out here for clarity...I have accepted my fate...if this will be the end of me...then I am prepared...thank you all once again
