⚠️ Alarming decision! Sri Lanka cabinet decided to raise the permissible limit of aflatoxin for internationally recognized food supplements & children's supplements like Triposha.
🆕 New Limits:
1. 5 ppb for type B1 Aflatoxin (most toxic)
2. 10 ppb aflatoxin (total)
⭕️ EU limit for B1 aflatoxins for processed cereal-based foods and baby foods: 0.1 ppb
⭕️ These newly set limits are 50 times higher than the EU standard!
eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/20…
☠️ Aflatoxin B1 is a potent carcinogen with strict regulatory limits worldwide due to its high toxicity especially when it comes to products involving children.
We urge Sri Lankan authorities to reconsider this decision in order to protect children's health!
“4th umpire is wrong here! Video evidence shows I still had 5 more seconds even after the helmet gave away! Can the 4th umpire rectify this please?” @Angelo69Mathews provides proof as promised at the after game presser of #BANvSL on the ‘timed out’ dismissal #lka #LK

Napier 2001; Faced with a daunting task of defending 214,SL found an unlikely hero in Eric Upashantha. The right arm pacer ripped the heart out of Kiwi chase picking 4/5 NZ top order.Ironically Murali's 5-30 cleaning the tail meant Eric's 4-37 didn't win the MoM. #CricketTwitter
