I’ve really come to realize that a lot of MLB fans have no idea the difference between a DFA, a release, or an option. Everything is a DFA to them.

WAR often gets viewed and judged solely on what a player does offensively. This is one example of that.

WAR is a fake stat. Cabell did not have much power but was a solid player.

A show that was presented as a PPV vs a developmental show who had stars on it To be honest I think both did terribly nothing to celebrate here

People are gonna cry about this but Bryce Harper has 4 kids under 8. Just because he has your dream job doesn’t mean he’s gotta lie to you about his priorities. He posted a 131 OPS+ this year

Garrett Stubbs, the Phillies @MLBPA team rep today said about the salary-cap argument and certain owners “Fans are smart. I think the majority of fans realize [a salary cap]’s not going to solve the overarching issue of certain owners not caring about winning. We have GMs or president of baseball ops literally coming out saying, ‘We want to win about 80-some games,’ and that’s their formula. That’s embarrassing.”
