Midnight. \*Jim @JbaynJ lies unconscious on the concrete floor. The Tamer's K9s are barking furiously at a massive steel door, while Stormstrike @_stormstrike stands over the fallen Evercade Family Enforcer. Nearby, Joshua Hobin, the turncoat chef, looks like a man who's just realized he left the oven on for three days.\* @_stormstrike — The Modern Gaming Enforcer: Alright, Hobin. You've got about five seconds to explain what the hell is behind that door. @JoshuaHobin — The Turncoat Chef: I told you! It's Project Game Over! It was supposed to be a security system to protect the Society's gaming intel! @sweet_leef — The Tamer: Then why are my dogs acting like there's a three-headed monster in there? @JoshuaHobin: Because it's not finished! The targeting system is faulty, the threat recognition is broken, and somebody forgot to install the shutdown protocol! @_stormstrike: YOU BUILT A GIANT ROBOT WITHOUT AN OFF SWITCH?! @JoshuaHobin: I'm a chef, not a miracle worker! Suddenly, a deafening crash rocks the warehouse. KRAAAANG! The steel door bends outward. A shower of sparks erupts from the locking mechanism. The lights flicker, then turn blood red. SYSTEM VOICE: SECURITY BREACH DETECTED. INITIATING PROJECT GAME OVER. The door explodes off its hinges. Out of the darkness emerges a gigantic armored security robot, its red optical sensors scanning the warehouse. Its mechanical limbs hiss as it stomps forward, crushing a wooden crate beneath its foot. SYSTEM VOICE: MULTIPLE HOSTILES IDENTIFIED. Its head turns toward Stormstrike. SYSTEM VOICE: TARGET ONE ACQUIRED. @_stormstrike: Oh, you've got to be kidding me. SYSTEM VOICE: THREAT ELIMINATION COMMENCING. @_stormstrike: EVERYBODY MOVE! The robot charges. Stormstrike dives behind a forklift just as the machine smashes through a stack of crates. The Tamer whistles sharply, ordering her K9s to retreat behind the loading bay. @sweet_leef: Hobin! Shut it down! @JoshuaHobin: I'M TRYING! Hobin frantically types on a nearby terminal. @JoshuaHobin: Password rejected! @_stormstrike: TRY THE ONE YOU USED TO STEAL OUR SECRETS! @JoshuaHobin: I USED MY BIRTHDAY! @_stormstrike: YOUR BIRTHDAY?! @JoshuaHobin: I PANICKED! The robot's head swivels toward the terminal. SYSTEM VOICE: UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS DETECTED. TARGET TWO ACQUIRED. @JoshuaHobin: Oh, biscuits. The robot fires a burst of electricity at the terminal. Sparks shower across Hobin's face, and he dives behind a barrel. @JoshuaHobin: I'M NEVER COOKING AGAIN!
