Being a solopreneur is hilarious.
You spend 6 hours fixing a bug that nobody noticed.
3 hours redesigning a button that nobody clicks.
2 hours researching your next billion-dollar idea.
And 0 minutes doing the one thing that could actually grow your business:
Talking to customers.
Please tell me I'm not the only one. 😂
Are you building (or have built) something cool online?

@JonBuildsHQ played my game "Monsoon Drift" and gave suggestion to add a drift gauge.
So, i added it and now when it's full, you can press shift to get the boost.
Enjoy the new feature. And tell if you need anything else.

I only tried the drift game so far and it's fun but I instantly felt like I wanted to see some kind of exciting drift gauge that fills up during each drift and when you manage to fill it up to the max, you get some kind of boost ahah
I think AI has created a new generation of entrepreneurs who are addicted to building.
New idea? Build it.
No customers? Build something else.
No revenue? Start another project.
I'm guilty of this too.
Maybe the most valuable skill in 2026 isn't coding anymore.
It's knowing when to STOP building and start selling.
This is actually really cool:
Claude can not only write your job post, it can actually go find the people for it.
I tested treg.to with a hypothetical full-stack role and had Claude find + rank 20 candidates for me.
What I liked is that it didn’t just return a random list.
It looked at things like experience, GitHub activity, startup background and other public signals to explain why each candidate matched the role.
So instead of another recruiting dashboard, the workflow feels much closer to:
“Here’s the role. Bring me back a shortlist of people I can actually work with.”
I’m not hiring right now, but this is a pretty interesting use of agents!

2026 is wild.
You can build an entire SaaS with AI in a weekend.
You can launch it without spending a dollar on developers.
You can automate almost everything.
And somehow, getting paying customers is actually really difficult.
Anyone else? 😂
I made $400 this month posting sponsored tweets on X.
Meanwhile, my micro-SaaS has made $350 in its ENTIRE lifetime.
Months of building vs. a few tweets.
At what point do I start taking the hint? 😂

Someone should create a marketplace for the "build-in-public" community that brings together:
- people who launched a SaaS product and are willing to pay a bit of money in exchange for early testimonials
- people who want to make a bit of money by testing products & writing testimonials.
One of the most underrated benefits of running a small online business:
You can make money while:
-Walking your dog
-Playing with your kids
-Sleeping
-Spending time with your wife
Not because you're rich (I'm not).
But because you built something that doesn't need you every hour of the day.
That's the kind of wealth I'm chasing.

Having my entire income and company revenue pinned on one client
Although I still struggle to see what I could have done differently.
Aside from the obvious of having contracts in place…. Perhaps that would have been enough
The weirdest part of being a solopreneur dad:
When I'm working, I feel guilty for not spending time with my family.
When I'm with my family, I feel guilty for not working on my business.
I'm slowly learning that freedom isn't just owning your time.
It's being able to enjoy it.
Any other founders feel this?
