TxFlow is Hyperliquid from Temu
They forked Hyperliquid's Arbitrum bridge and changed the name. They copied HyperUnit too and forgot to change the name: txrelay[.]com literally says "Unit is the asset tokenization layer on TxRelay". The frontend, the API and the fees are Hyperliquid's. Even the slogan. The L1 is closed source, with Hyperliquid's naming on everything: TxCore, Tx-BFT, TIPs
Hyperliquid is closed source too, but it has 27 validators that each post prices, and anyone can run a node to check them. TxFlow has 5 validators, all its own, nothing you can run, and one key that acts as the entire oracle. The same key sits on the bridge multisig
So it's a centralized exchange secured by a 3/4 multisig. Their own audit says those keys "can propose arbitrary withdrawals"
And the growth plan is KOLs shilling ref codes

πͺWhich years were the best for airdrops?
The golden age of airdrops was 2024. However, there were other excellent years, such as 2021, as well as parts of 2022 and 2023.
Looking at the list below, 2025 appears to have been packed with launches, though they were very often of little value compared to those in 2021, 2023, and especially 2024 (with rare exceptions, such as Lighter). 2026 was not a positive year, either.
From late 2024 onwards, airdrops involving points, quests and badges where users are guided and know exactly what to do, became widespread; consequently, a large number of disappointing airdrops proliferated.
It remains to be seen whether projects like Variational, Arcus, OpenSea, Polymarket, Base, Arc, Soneium will manage to make airdrops great again.
Before covering DeFi airdrops (from 2020 onwards), it is worth starting with Bitcoin forks (I will mention the main ones). While not airdrops in the strict sense, the concept is the same.

The value shown in the table below is the Market Cap (not the FDV). When evaluating the FDV and by extension the Market Cap (based on the percentage of the airdrop distributed at TGE), keep this table in mind.
As you can see, around the 50th position, less than $200 million was distributed via airdrop.
It stands to reason, for example, that an airdrop based on a $200 million FDV with 20% of the supply allocated would amount to roughly $40 million. This is why allocations are very often smaller than those seen in past airdrops: lower market cap projects combined with a larger number of eligible participants (farmers).
