STORY: Few know @Saints QB Drew Brees better than @SeanPayton. Only one QB/HC duo has more career wins. They're still close. Drew is building a house near Sean's. "He means everything to me" More from Payton on Drew's greatness as he heads to Canton: tinyurl.com/yc2k7vfb

The Saints had 18 rushing yards in their loss to the Steelers. Here's the list of who had rushing attempts and their results: Tyler Shough: 3 carries, 7 yards Kendre Miller: 8 carries, 6 yards Alvin Kamara: 6 carries, 5 yards

Saints lose to the Steelers in Paris 16-10 & it looked similar to a lot of the other losses. Slow start, couldn't run the ball, stop the run, Tyler Shough showed his toughness & gave them a chance at times but overall it ends with an L. New Orleans is 2-5 heading into the bye.

Saints DE Chase Young (7) now ranks second in the NFL in sacks. He only trails Will Anderson (7.5). Cam Jordan told us in August that Chase can be a 20-sack guy. At this pace, that doesn’t sound too crazy.

Tyler Shough just threw the first red zone interception of his Saints career. Prior to that, he had thrown 18 RZ TDs without an INT.

Tulane is fortunate to be trailing by only one score after turning the ball over three times in the first half. UTSA leads 21-13 at the break. The Green Wave gets the ball to start the third.

An awkward pitch, a pick six and an insane one-handed catch. Totally normal quarter of football Uptown. UTSA leads Tulane 14-7 at the end of the first.

Zion Williamson on the Pelicans’ loss to the Pacers: “We gave ourselves a chance but ultimately the turnovers caught up to us”

Pelicans lose the opener to the Pacers 123-120. Siakam and Haliburton played great. New Orleans is 0-1.

Congratulations to Pascal Siakam for earning this year’s first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor!

I’ve been really impressed with Yves Missi. 9 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks so far. Been active on both ends of the floor. The Pelicans are winning the rebounding battle 26-15 and lead the Pacers 55-50 with 2:45 to go in the half.
