The perfect ending for Justin Verlander.
His daughter runs out to the mound and he walks off with his family.
Feels like a movie.

Why do I - as a Christ-follower - speak so openly against this administration?
Because they’re religious extremists. But because they wrap it all up in the name of Jesus, people think it’s okay.
It’s not. They’re taking God’s name in vain and if you have a voice, speak out against it.
Rosters just got cut to 53. The depth charts are finally real, and so are these paths.
👀 THE SLEEPERS — four cheap picks with a real path 🧵
4. MarShawn Lloyd (RB · GB)
Seven career touches, so I'll say it straight: this is a situation call. He's the No. 2 in Green Bay with Emanuel Wilson gone to Seattle, and Josh Jacobs' availability is a live question — charged in late August, league investigation open. If the job falls, it falls to Lloyd first. The market says RB46; my board says RB31.
That's the sleeper board. Low cost if I'm wrong.

The Targets drop Thursday.
#Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty suffered an apparent lower-leg injury at practice today and was down for a while before being helped off the field by trainers.
The No. 1 pick in fantasy drafts right now scored 7 and a half more touchdowns last season than his opportunities were worth.
I graded every carry and target since 2017 against what that exact situation converts — field position, depth of target. A player who beats his expected touchdowns keeps about a tenth of the edge the next year.
Jahmyr Gibbs beat his by the most in football. That's 2.6 points a game of his 2025 that history says walks away.
The other side is where the discounts live.
Justin Jefferson caught 143 targets and scored twice. Those opportunities were worth 8 touchdowns. CeeDee Lamb: 3 against 6.6.
Whatever else moved their prices down, the stat that cratered their 2025 is the one that doesn't repeat.
Agree with my guy @lukesawhook here. My preferred way to use ADP is to determine how long I can wait on taking a guy. That being said, I have no problem reaching for players I am bullish on if I think they’ll go before my next pick. #KnowYourLeague
