NHS HAS A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR DESTROYING WHISTLEBLOWERS. Peter Gooderham was an academic lawyer and former doctor. He spent most of his working life trying to understand why @NHS staff who raised patient safety concerns kept ending up bankrupt, mentally broken, or both. Before he died in 2011, he sat down with Private Eye (@PrivateEyeNews) and documented the playbook in full. It goes like this. First, cut their secretarial support. Block their merit awards. Briefing against them informally. Tell colleagues they have attitude problems and can't move on. None of this is illegal. All of it is deliberate. Then dig up dirt. Real or invented. Allege mental illness. The stress of the process makes this self-fulfilling, which is convenient. Refuse to disclose documents. Claim it's a local employment matter. The Department of Health will back this up because they always do. Then apply to the Treasury for public money to pay them off and shut them up. Some gagging agreements require the whistleblower to sign statements saying all their concerns have been addressed. Even when they haven't. Even when people are still dying. If they refuse the money, send the lawyers. Threaten libel. Throw public funds at employment tribunals, where NHS trusts are seasoned professionals and the whistleblower is walking in alone. If the trust loses, appeal. Keep appealing until the whistleblower runs out of money. The public purse is unlimited. Their savings are not. And if none of that works, don't worry. Public inquiries are, in Gooderham's own words, belated exercises in grief management that seldom change anything. By the time one arrives, the people responsible have moved on and the problems are dismissed as historical. The Gooderham playbook was not a historical curiosity. A @Channel4 investigation found gagging clauses in 55 of 64 NHS compromise agreements sampled. Over 40 NHS organisations refused to provide information on how many they had signed. One trust wanted over £10,000 just to produce the information. Another argued you couldn't even publish their reasons for refusing. This is a system that was designed, iteratively, over decades, to neutralise whistleblowers. The public funds the mechanism. The mechanism silences the people trying to protect the public. And then a public inquiry happens 15 years later and describes the culture as disappointing. These are some of the tweets from the Starlink disinformation campaign. The tweets themselves came mostly from accounts that appeared to be operated by humans, but there were some signs of inauthentic activity/automation in the retweets. These tweets are copy-paste repetitions of the seed phrases, which blamed Ukraine for bringing this on themselves by "hacking" Starlink terminals.

SpaceX Blocked A U.S. And NATO Satellite to Assist a Russian Intercept After Crippling Ukraine's Air Defenses The Math Proves the Reality that Musk doesn't want you to see. On Oct 13-14, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink during a 39-missile Russian attack, cutting Ukrainian drone intercepts by 23% and stranding U.S. personnel in Kyiv. Forty-eight hours later (Oct 15), SpaceX blocked U.S.-licensed NRO, Space Force, and NATO radar satellite ICEYE-X36 in orbit so Russia's COSMOS 2612 weapon could intercept it (99.89%-99.98% posterior) Our Model Demonstrates that the Russian intercept of the US/NATO ICEYE X-36 satellite (contemporaneous with the throttling of Starlink) would not have been possible, and almost certainly not been attempted, without SpaceX resources. At a material opportunity cost, Russia sprinted its COSMOS satellite to intercept ICEYE X36. Based on a previous attempt in June during which X36 maneuvered to evade COSMOS, Russia knew that this would be successful only if X36 could not maneuver. On October 15, SpaceX fixed X36 in place by issuing a collision alert for a sub-kilometer approach with its Starlink 35856 when SpaceX's own data shows that the actual distance was 4.8-5.0x as great. SpaceX issued no warning to COSMOS despite the fact that its sprint was far more threatening than the stable X36 orbit. SpaceX did not maneuver its Starlink 35856 satellite to clear the supposed collision risk. How, absent coordination with SpaceX, could Russia have known that SpaceX would take actions that (a) misrepresented the danger posed by X36, and (b) resulted in the fixing of X36 thereby enabling COSMOS's successful intercept? Thus, SpaceX was directly involved in simultaneously compromising Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities. The conjunction of these two events makes innocent explanations untenable. The Pentagon Capture & Iran Round Two Trap: Pentagon CTO Emil Michael who cashed out $7M–$35M from Musk’s inner-circle SpaceX vehicles (M8/Gigafund 0.1 and M6/Valor M33 II) and KQ Partners / xAI (selling xAIfor $5M–$25M three days before taking over CDAO/OSCand 21 days before SpaceX bought xAI, while keeping M8, M6, M9, M10 & Nomadic open) and Pete Hegseth purged rival Anthropic in two hours, surrendered combat command over US drones used to attack Iran to Starlink’s "Terms of Service," and on October 2 named Musk Co-Director of Project Meridian to design the Pentagon's "Future of Warfighting" just as America enters Iran Round Twowith depleted Patriot/THAAD magazines and Russia feeding U.S. warship/aircraft locations to Tehran. SpaceX’s actions in Ukraine raise serious questions about its alignment with US security interests and its reliability as a cornerstone of US defense. These questions are particularly troubling given the effectively irreplaceable position SpaceX has been granted by the Hegseth/Emil Michael Pentagon. $SPCX $TSLA Our full quantitative analysis below w/ @streetwiseprof

The rats are starting to flee
Billionaire Ron Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress and once one of Benjamin Netanyahu’s closest associates, has broken years of silence to speak out against the Israeli prime minister in an interview with Haaretz. Lauder says he saw 30 years ago how Netanyahu put his own political future ahead of the country’s, and is now determined to wake up the Israeli public before it is too late. He has cut his ties with Israel over the past year, telling Haaretz “I sold my house in Tel Aviv” and saying he gave his Beersheba property to the Jewish National Fund, which he chairs. Addressing Israelis, he said: “Your fathers fought for the country, and you’re losing everything because of stupidity.”

So one of the main accounts on X, who has for years fought to provide accurate information about the Andrew & Tristan Tate case, has been suspended. @CrayonMurders has also been facing legal action from the Tates, alleging his factual content was "defamation", along with trying to force X through the courts to identify him. Really hope @Safety & @support work quickly to reinstate this account, which is the very epitome of a free speech battle.

Appears to be absolutely MASSIVE protests all across the US yesterday and this platform is so skewed to the Trump/Putin side that this is the first I've seen or heard of it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The montage uses recycled footage from larger 2025 and March 2026 No Kings protests, not Oct 17 2026 Vote Early events. Those were smaller localized gatherings (hundreds to thousands per city) focused on early voting, not the massive crowds shown. nytimes.com/2026/10/17/us/… abc7ny.com/post/no-kings-… minnesotareformer.com/2026/10/17/hun… npr.org/2026/10/17/nx-…

Don’t stop talking about how Epstein emails + calendars reveal the timeline of how Silicon Valley, including Musk, was corralled and secured into the Epstein network long ago & just in time for Russia and Israel to collab on a Trump Presidential launch using social media psy ops.
Brief MUSK film review: very long on “what,” but nothing new. Entirely short on “why,” while rehashing a variety of overplayed tropes. Overall, a missed opportunity to expose his geopolitical motivations. A terrible theatrical experience — overlong, self-indulgent, and with absolutely nothing new to say. Those who have been in a coma the last five years may find it a helpful recapping of events, but see it in January when it streams on HBO so you can skip the film’s pointless and violent CGI sequences. Seldom do I leave a theater harboring contempt, but I feel it welling up when I consider the missed opportunity here, especially right before the election. Sorry, I wanted to like it, but it just didn’t deliver.

This story is extremely important: A whistleblower revealed that Brazil's far-right Bolsonaro family dynasty met with Meta to discuss US plans to interfere in Brazil's election, to prevent Lula from winning. Lula's Facebook and Instagram accounts were censored a few days before the first round of the presidential election. This had a huge impact on the election, because Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which are all owned by Meta, are the most popular apps in Brazil, and are hugely influential all across Latin America. (Jair Bolsonaro's son Flávio was declared the winner of the first round of the vote, by a narrow margin.) Meta later admitted that Lula's accounts had been restricted, but it claimed that this was supposedly due to a "technical error"... The whistleblower who disclosed this is Nadia Beller, a Bolivian journalist who was almost killed by hitmen hired by Fernando Cerimedo, a far-right Argentine political operative who oversees election interference, bots, and disinformation campaigns. Cerimedo is closely linked to the US government and has worked for pretty much every right-wing leader in Latin America. He was photographed with Donald Trump Jr. and members of the Bolsonaro family, and he received an award at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida a few months before he was arrested for the failed assassination attempt against Beller, his pregnant ex-girlfriend. In 1963, DuPonts urged DC to expand corporate interests abroad. Days later, JFK was killed & CIA backed the Indonesian coup that protected DuPont controlled rubber plantations. The regime killed 3M+ people & used political prisoners as slave labor, benefiting DuPont shareholders.

Rockefellers' oil empire & political networks worked hand in hand w/ evangelicalism to enslave & exterminate Indigenous Latin Americans in the name of anti-communism, using the Bible to enforce obedience while seizing their land to benefit CIA backed dictators & US corporations.
CIA's Banzer Plan targeted the left-wing movement within the Church in LatAm that railed against US imperialism. CIA allied w/ drug cartels to expand coca production to pay mercenaries; the Vatican Bank then laundered cartel money, financing church bombings/clergy assassinations.
