There was a horse collar and a spearing in the helmet. What are we even doing here in the officiating?

Not a fan of either Miami or Notre Dame, but that’s a touchdown. Control. Two feet down. DB knocks it out of his hands. If that’s not a TD, the rule is absurd.

Truth: Susie stayed neutral in the VP process, and/but is much closer to Rubio. As a man better than I once wrote on a whiteboard: Florida Florida Florida
We can debate which one is true but what is undeniable is multiple GOP contenders are already getting their attack dogs(bots) to do their dirty work. Be vigilant

It’s so easy to set unrealistic expectations. 1) can think of a few countries and that would like to defund WH operations. 2) because of that, any court would find it reasonable for the president to declare an emergency and fund WH operations with any existing funds.
Mark Kelly at Crooked Con argues Democrats should cut off funding for White House operations to pressure Trump to end the war in Iran: “The big hammer is White House operations funding. We control that. So if he can't find a way out of this, we can put pressure on him.”

There is a sophistication here that has sometimes been absent in new members. She does not believe that because her constituents elected her that she represents Hakeem Jeffries’ voters, too. And/but M4A vote shows left who to primary next time. But will divide Ds and unite Rs.
Representative-elect Melat Kiros: I want to see Medicare for all voted on. I want to see a data center moratorium voted on. I want to see us ending military sales to Israel, ending the war in Iran. And to be clear, my demand is not that Leader Jeffries specifically supports these things himself. My demand is that he lets us vote on it.

Old enough to remember Van Hollen winning his Senate primary by portraying Donna Edwards as insufficiently supportive of Israel.

To be fair, he conditioned his support for Jeffries on a constitutional amendment that can’t possibly win 2/3 votes in each chamber or 3/4 of the states. If you’re Jeffries, maybe you agree to a vote on the amendment and promise he gets committee assignments when it is adopted.
My DSA congressman-elect Don Leonard: “I’m withholding my vote for Speaker Jeffries!” Also Don Leonard: “Please put me on the most powerful committee in Congress!” 😂 This delusional goof is going to “fight for our district” from a broom closet.

"Master of the Senate" should come in very handy.
Anyone who wants to get in politics on any level better read it!

EXCLUSIVE: 'TIP OF THE ICEBERG': David Rush, the former CIA official who had $40M in gold bars, is 'just the tip of the iceberg,' according to someone familiar with an OMB review of the intelligence community's "black budget" programs. nbcnews.com/politics/nationa…

If one viral clip summed up voter vibes this year it was this one. via @jonallendc
Pennsylvania MAGA voter lays into Trump over rising gas prices: Trump is a worthless pile of shit. I voted for him three times. That was my bad. Apparently, I'm an idiot.

Frankly surprised someone on the congressman’s staff didn’t leak the tweet to @JakeSherman before it was posted.
The slimiest member of the DC press corps who conspires with low integrity attention seekers to leak strategies being discussed in House Republican meetings is Jake Sherman. To be clear- If you want my vote for leadership you will commit to no on or off record interviews with Jake Sherman for as long as he leaks our confidential team meetings. If being in “punchbowl” is more important than keeping the confidentiality of your colleagues not only are you unfit for Leadership, you shouldn’t call yourself a patriot. Do not call me and ask for my vote unless you are willing to make that commitment. Our Republican Conference was crushed on Tuesday and we enter one of the most perilous times in our nations history. I can only speak for myself, but I will not be tolerating games and BS. 🇺🇸

"We got a way better group of senators. …We had, senator, five drunks or six drunks. There’s nobody drunk in the United States Senate [now]. …And we’ve got more than that. We’ve got the women." Really worth watching the entire clip. Also, that combination of voice and drawl!
Last time a Democrat Senator from SC spoke on floor? Nov 16, 2004. Ernest Hollings. On Lindsey Graham: "That fellow is going to be here a long time." -AND- "The poor recorder. If you can understand what I'm saying. They always asking later, What did he say and how did he say it?"

Of every 100 Trump voters, ~63 voted GOP, 4 voted Dem and 33 didn't vote or went third party. Of every 100 Harris voters, ~85 voted Dem, ~2 voted GOP and 13.5 didn't vote or went third party. Of those that turned out 6% of Trump voters backed Dems (exit polls put that at 7%)

Not only all of this, but Senate Dems haven’t had a truly contested race for leader since Daschle v Dodd, 1994. Every once in a while some people would say after elections they supported someone else (post-2014 wipeout). But never an actual race.
1) no one is running against Schumer 2) the Senate leadership vote is on a secret ballot 3) Democrats just won a landslide with Schumer setting Senate strategy and his allies providing support to winning campaigns. 4) If no one runs against him, there won’t be a vote count. 1/2
