"Why don't you like Elon?" Because he uses his giant platform to spread baseless fear, encouraging Americans with different political views to hate each other. He makes our political world worse. In reality land, Democrats don't want to open the borders and "legalize everyone." Biden's border policies were too loose, but he cracked down (under pressure) in his last year, and the 2024 Dem platform explicitly called for better border security. Immigration policies hurt Dems at the polls, and they're wary of getting burned again. Assuming that immigrants will all support Dems is also ahistorical. Half of Hispanic voters, immigrants and children of immigrants, picked Trump in 2024, partly because they didn't agree with lax immigration policies. Remember, in 2021-2022, Democrats controlled the presidency, the Senate, and the House, but they didn't pass Elon's scare package! If they're so evil, why didn't they do it then??? "Game over for America"? Just stupid fearmongering: "If my side doesn't win, we're all DOOMED!!!" Sometimes one party wins, sometimes the other. That's how elections work. Elon is as trustworthy on politics as Hasan Piker. (But making Puerto Rico a state would be fair. They are American citizens; give them representation.)

We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld

I am so very appreciative of this honor. It means so much to me to receive approval from the people of the coalfields where I was born and raised. Thank you, Bluefield. wvva.com/2026/10/27/bluefiel…

So much conspiracy out there over Brazil. Here are the facts. 1. Both candidates requested extension of voting hours. Both! 2. Allowing everyone time to vote is democratic obviously. 3. Voting is mandatory in Brazil. 4. Bolsonaro got nearly four million more votes in second round versus first, despite claims he lost votes. 5. He was always going to lose as almost all voters for anyone else weren't going to touch him. 6. It was a relative landslide win for Lula. 7. Lula has issues but isn't communist. 8. Begging Trump to invade in the name of democracy because you lost isn't a good reflection of your intelligence. 9. The right need to learn to lose and stop whining. 10. X posts don't make someone who couldn't find Brazil on a map an expert on their society and politics. 11. Lula now needs to do far better for Brazilians than he has in past and I've huge doubts he will frankly.

The only warmongers are in the Kremlin. Europe and our allies support Ukraine in its self-defence in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. It really shouldn’t be that hard to grasp.

I’m a Russian speaker from eastern Ukraine. My family are Ukrainian, and Russia stole our home. So what exactly is your definition of “ordinary people”? I’m now a journalist and author, if it’s any consolation, it’s in the bloody bio too. 🤦‍♂️

This was not a war of choice for Ukraine If they stop fighting, then Ukraine stops existing Framing this as elites versus the people is rich coming from the world’s wealthiest human
What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

I've been in those trenches every month or two for the last four years. People are tired, they miss their families, they have their frustrations. But they are there, still holding the line, with full clarity that if they let go, Russia and its tyranny will come to their homes.

To be clear, Ukraine has supported an unconditional ceasefire and freeze in place for over a year. This is not a new position. The Russians, by contrast, want a negotiated settlement— that’s not a new position for them either.
The change in tone and substance from just a few days ago is remarkable. Kudos to President Zelensky for choosing cooperation and compromise in negotiations and dealings with the United States. I hope this is a harbinger of movement from Russia as well.

Yes. US officials and reports since March 2026 confirm Russia has shared satellite imagery and location data on US bases, warships, and aircraft to aid Iranian targeting in the Middle East. Iranian strikes on those targets have killed US troops; the official toll linked to the conflict stands at 21 as of mid-October.

The president has been saying for years that Putin wants to make a deal, but I'd love to know what the evidence of that is. He's the aggressor in this war and regularly attacks civilian targets with no military purpose. He is a war criminal.
REPORTER: How are you going to make Putin abide by the ceasefire?" TRUMP: “I think what's happening is he wants to make a deal and we have to get Zelensky to want to make a deal”

No. Pre-war oil and product flows through the Strait of Hormuz averaged roughly 17-20 million barrels per day. Latest Kpler figures show 7-day averages around 10.5-12 million bpd in early October, about 30% below that baseline, after recent attacks further reduced volumes. Visible ship traffic is only 4-10% of normal.

🤡 “If you want to win, don't buy oil from Russia,” — Donald Trump The US president has spent years criticizing countries that buy Russian oil. And yesterday, he decided to join them himself 👏
🤡 “I want to thank President Putin”: Trump celebrates oil deal with Russia and brushes off Zelensky's criticism Speaking to reporters outside the White House, the US president thanked Putin for promising to supply massive quantities of diesel fuel. “This oil deal with Russia is a big deal. These are massive amounts of oil coming into our country. And it's diesel, which is exactly what we need. So, frankly, I want to thank President Putin,” Trump said. When reporters asked him about Zelensky's criticism, in which the Ukrainian president described the deal as a sign of weakness, Trump simply replied: “Okay.” Pressed again, he said the US remains a strong partner of Ukraine, but added: “The world needs oil. This is diesel, which the world needs. So we're very happy.” Under the terms announced by Trump, Russia is expected to supply 300,000 tonnes of diesel immediately, another 500,000 tonnes in November, and 4 million tonnes over the following months. As part of the agreement, US sanctions on Russian diesel have been suspended until April 2027.

Trump has spent years blaming Zelenskyy for the results of Putin's actions, and now he's moved on to blaming him for his own.
What a disgrace to the United States and the free world. President Zelenskyy is on the side of liberty; the president of the world’s leading democracy is on the side of tyranny & aggression.
