Many stop themselves from sharing and finishing their work because they want it to be “perfect.” But not many understand that you just have to do it often and improve. Because your first few attempts will always be shitty. This visual is 🔥 @JonathanVPark !

Initial ideas are generally crappy, unsharp, and wrong. Entrepreneurs & innovators ITERATE & ADAPT initial ideas UNTIL they create value for customers with a profitable business model. #TestingIdeas Image @JonathanVPark

I started practicing visualization a month ago. I used to think it was cheesy and pointless. Now it's one of my go-to habits.

Most are so focused on optics they forget it's the repetition of boring basics that makes the difference.

Having trouble coming up with business ideas? Stop asking "what business should I start?" Start asking "how do people do *insert task* today?" A business is nothing more than a bridge that connects the gap between someone's current state & ideal state.

Self-sabotaging narratives that slowed down my entrepreneurial journey: "I need to learn more" "I don't have the perfect idea" "Someone's already doing this" "I'll start next month when I'm less busy" "I don't feel motivated to do this anymore" What's some of yours?

Most people follow the person behind an idea, not the principle behind an idea. A surefire way to live a life full of bias and contradicting beliefs. To gain clarity & congruence, ask "what do I believe to be true" not "who do I believe to be true"

I've been climbing the corporate tech ladder for the last 7 years, but always had a bug for starting my own business. I dabbled here & there w/ some success, but my constant challenge was coming up with ideas that were desirable, viable, feasible, profitable, and scalable.

There's no "right" way to do entrepreneurship. You can generate cash flow & build a business a million different ways. Online and offline. What matters is choosing a path that aligns with your > skills > curiosity > ease of access and chipping away at it every single day.

The key to confidence isn't puffing up your chest or being fearless. That's easily deflated by reality. A confident person is an adventurous person. Someone who leans into adventure over & over again. The more adventurous you become, the more bulletproof you realize you are.

Fear of looking stupid holds us back from our potential. Be willing to look like an idiot in the short term to be successful in the long term.

If you're starting out in the agency world, your #1 priority should be getting repeatable results for one client not signing 7 clients in a row w/ a cheesy promise. You need time & reps to test, fail, and tweak your methods. Obsess over your client's results, not your MRR.

Nail down the basics of prospecting & you won't need the latest tactics to deliver results. - laser-targeted ICP - deep knowledge of their current state, pain points & ideal state - personalized & relevant msging - giving value vs taking away time Fundamentals drive results.

Effective outreach comes down to personalization & relevance. Answer these 3 questions in your outreach: 1. why are you reaching out to this prospect specifically? 2. how does that relate to what you're pitching them on? 3. what business pain point does your pitch address?

A year ago, my best idea for making side income was blogging on medium. Made a whopping $15 to date. Now, sending a few emails to the right person nets me 100x that off the bat. Crazy how the right community, knowledge & mindset flips the script on what’s possible.

Use direct, assumptive words when talking to prospects: "I'm reaching out because" "How about we meet at 2pm?" Stay away from weak, passive msging: "I was wondering if" "What's the best time for you?" Asking directly for what you want makes it easy for prospects to say yes.

always amped to get these types of replies for my clients. the cold email had: - no "killer" offers - no case studies - no social proof just a genuine appreciation for the prospects' journey, and empathy on their brand's pain points & desires. talk to people like people.
