🚨🚨🎙️| Wayne Rooney admits Manchester United could be relegated and questions the club’s recruitment! 😳
“The relegation, I couldn’t rule it out, if I’m being honest.”
“At the minute, I think it could be. I hope not.”
“They’re deluded if they think the front three that they’ve brought in are good enough.”
“To take this current group of Manchester United players, for them to sign and to take this team into the next level, into the Champions League, you’re living in cuckoo land.”
“The squad is absolutely a million miles away from being champions.”
In the years since Sir Alex left, its never been this bad. This is as low as its been and its only going to get worse before it gets better #mufc

‘Michael Carrick will be given time to turn things around’ and ‘the hierarchy do not want to rush next steps’ should be read and digested for what it really is: an indecisive club without any succession planning or contingencies because it doesn’t have clarity of identity in the first place. A club that often takes the cheap instead of the smart or right route because of the crippling Glazer debt, plus decision-makers who are never aligned - except in their own self-preservation. And it ends up costing more.
It explains the chaotic nature of lurching from one coaching philosophy to its extreme, to revisiting candidates that were on the agenda - some as far back as 2019 - that were already ruled out, to having a shortlist of options with nothing in common to take over a mishmash team that has suffered from horrid squad planning; both in incomings and exits.
Blame the players, blame the name in the dugout while the people who brought them to Manchester United, kept them, created the absolute opposite of a culture of excellence are allowed to rinse and repeat.
Gross negligence personified. I have tickets for Coventry in December flying from Belfast. Im not going to further finance that shite, seats can sit vacant. Sure, it cost me the price of the tickets but no chance ill waste another 300-500 on flights and accommodation.
Understand one of the main reasons #MUFC have decided to keep Michael Carrick is due to financial reasons. Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the final decision after talks involving Glazers, Berrada & Wilcox. Carrick could have #CFC, #Roma & #AVFC games. @UtdDistrict roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…

Jason Wilcox’s entire executive CV is running an academy backed by infinite state-funded resources, followed by a cup of coffee at Southampton. Now he’s steering the ship at Manchester United. No wonder we’re completely lost. #WilcoxOut
So Carrick and the players have a free run for the season? Classic
🚨 JUST IN:
Insiders say Manchester United decision-makers are NOT fully sold on available coaches Antonio Conte, Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann. A well-placed source said, “The best ones WON’T come.” #MUFC [@samuelluckhurst]
Did they take any notice of 70,000 fans signing "we want Glazers out" or "how we kill him, I dont know...."? #mufc
🚨 Sources say it did NOT go unnoticed by the Manchester United front office that Michael Carrick received significant support from United fans during and after the defeat to Bournemouth. #MUFC [@RobDawsonESPN, @MarkOgden_]

The only change at MUFC is that Michael Carrick will play centre mid at Chelsea. Plus Jonny Evans will return as a central defender.
Any delay was because Evans wanted confirmation that he wouldn't win the Ballon d'Or last night.
He has a point to prove.
They all do.
Big time
Truth be told, that could have been Bruno Fernandes stood on that Ballon Dor stage last night had he left the club a few seasons ago
People actually vote for this wankstain

Standards, or lack of. Other clubs about to drop £100m+ on a new midfielder whilst united dont have 3 mil to replace a coach 4 months into a 2 year deal.
#MUFC target Eddie Howe available for just £3m plus #CFC confident of signing Alex Scott in January. This week's @talkSPORT notebook is live 🚨

So the board went with the cheaper option of appointing Michael Carrick last sunmer instead of getting a top manager.
Now, the cost of dismissing him just four months into a two-year contract, and the price of hiring a new manager is making them not sack him.
If you ever wanted the best explanation of how INCOMPETENT our board and owners are, there you have it.
