Concerned residents packed the Utah County Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday after it unanimously approved a widely unpopular data center ordinance without allowing public comment.
Police quickly moved on concerned residents – including swarming one young woman, dragging her out of the room, and slamming her onto the ground. The woman was left with a concussion and a bruised and swollen jaw. She spent the night in the ER after being released from jail.
An emergency rally was called for Wednesday in response to the brutality. Community members are demanding the termination, arrest, and prosecution of the offending officer – identified as Phil Crawford.

you guys realize if 60% of the population decides to just not pay taxes (including corporations) that everything just collapses, right?
the IRS cannot audit everyone. the banks cannot close everyone's accounts. the cops can't go door to door arresting everyone. the jails don't have room.
taxes are an illusion built by trust in the system. once that trust is gone, the government goes as well.
