Wii mini feature restoration... Wifi, SD card slot, reset button, and 480p component video now working. I used kits from
store.webhdx.dev/ and I assembled some of these too

Direct Digital Audio Mod install for Super Famicom... Went a little overboard in editing a video for a simple little mod but was fun capturing the audio and putting it together anyway.
Switchless Region change + DFO + Controller reset installed on Sega Genesis Model 1 with a 3BPv2+ mod previously installed from the last time it came in.
I got sent a PC Engine GT someone bought hoping a lucky cap replacement would do the trick. I couldn't spend this money on a "junk" item myself without opening. Turned out it needed more than just ew caps to fix it (surprise!) Quickly turned into repair job. No life. 1/3
Cleaned up ok. Crumbly/brittle joints replaced. New caps. DC jack internal spring buggered. Gunked up. Battery neg input not able to reach ground on power switch. Jumped to test. Powered on! Screen and backlight alive. Audio. But wait... It had non-responsive buttons.2/3
Can't say I do these very often. I much prefer to work on retro stuff but anyway I did one of these today.
Bought this ZX Spectrum computer the other day from my local Marketplace. Couldn't pass it up with the box. Composite video mod done first so don't have RF scan for picture. Failed to boot. Lower RAM fault in IC11.
With a little TLC, your kid's kids can still enjoy your games many years from now. No digital license or online updates required. #RetroGamingForever
