Changes in components architecture 👌🏻
Ask a coding agent to change a component and it will. Ask it what that change broke and it will guess.
My new piece in @TDataScience is about why, and why good architecture makes it worse.

Building great software starts from day 2 and beyond
Anyone can use AI to generate an Instagram clone on Day 1. The real game is who moves faster on Day 2, Day 3, and beyond ⚡
AI turned coding into an implementation detail. To move faster than your competition, you have to operate one level above raw code.
In video below - Nexagram, a full social platform built, deployed, and running live on Bit Cloud. It has a GraphQL backend, React frontends, managed MongoDB, and a staging environment for every change. It's all open, standard, portable code you fully own.
The difference is structure. Instead of a black box, the AI builds API-first.
Every UI piece, data model, and API is visible, documented, and ready to become leverage for your next prompt.
The rule is simple - verify an asset once, then trust it everywhere. ✅
So every feature becomes a building block. Pivoting, launching a new product, spinning up a marketing site - your past work speeds up your next move.
Others start every prompt from scratch. You get faster with every release, and your codebase stops being a burden and becomes your advantage.

This is our amazing platform🚀
You’re welcome to try it and give me any feedback 🙏

Context is the difference. Josh ran the test 👇🏻
Same screenshot. Same prompt. Two AIs. 👀
I needed a YouTube thumbnail for a video about coding with Claude, deploying to Bit Cloud (@bitdotcloud ), and getting a live URL.
I gave Gemini and Hope the identical prompt and the identical base screenshot.
Which one would you choose

Building an app is now as easy as using one. That's why we started Bit - and today it's true, and it fits in your pocket📱
Now we're launching "Hope: Anything App" on iPhone, iPad and Android. The specific apps you need, live in minutes from your phone - built from everything you already have.
AI builders start from scratch - forcing you to re-explain everything on every prompt while wasting time, budget, and adding security risk. Hope builds on the verified assets you accumulate along the way, turning hours of iteration into a perfectly fitted app in minutes.
We call it the Anything App because that's what it turns out to be. A need comes up in a meeting, on a call, in your own day - and instead of a ticket, a workaround, or a spreadsheet nobody maintains, it becomes an app.
With Hope, one person builds like a world-class team - in the ten minutes after the meeting that gave you the idea.
Hope makes building software simple. Hope on your phone puts instant creation in everyone’s pocket.

AI made coding easy. Everything after it stayed hard. Today, Bit Cloud 2.0 changes that. 🧵👇

We build apps with AI - frontend, backend, database, domain, hosting. all of it, in one place.
Idea in the morning, live app by the afternoon.
What are you building?

Builds failing between Aug 30 and Sep 1 with export 'default' (imported as 'X') was not found ... (module has no exports) - usually on a MUI import?
Not your code. webpack 5.110.2 shipped a regression: its new circular re-export check false-positives on sideEffects: false barrel files that re-export a default. MUI v7 uses that pattern everywhere, so MUI consumers were the loudest casualties - but any library built the same way was hit.
Details: github.com/webpack/webpack/i…
Why it reached CI with zero changes on your side: webpack-based envs depend on webpack ^5.88.2. Every fresh CI capsule resolves that to the newest release. For ~53 hours, newest was broken.
Already fixed. 5.110.3 shipped Sep 1, ^5.x resolves there now - same builds pass untouched. Failed job in the window? bit ripple retry <job-id>. Pinned @ mui/* as a workaround? Revert it, MUI was never the cause.
Then harden, so the next bad patch can't reach you:
→ Custom env with a direct webpack dep - pin it. ~5.110.3, not ^5.x.
→ Env extending bitdev.react/react-env - move to 6.0.28+, which bundles previews with rspack. webpack leaves the preview pipeline entirely.

We challenged Hope AI to recreate Product Hunt from natural language, and now we are trending on Product Hunt! 🤯🚀
To truly push the boundaries of what our AI agent can do, we gave it an ambitious challenge: ‘Build a Product Hunt like platform’ – all from natural language. The result? ‘Product Cult,’ a fully-featured platform that demonstrates Hope AI and Bit Cloud power to build and maintain production-grade software.
Product Cult is powered by @reactjs , @nodejs , @MongoDB and @GraphQL, optimized for long-term orientation, consistency and ease of maintenance.
See it in action in the first comment with live app, Github repo and link to our Product Hunt launch 👇
