It's been a busy fall, but I am elated to announce that I will be back at Elite Basketball Services (EBS) this season in my new role as Lead Scout + Basketball Operations Coordinator!
In my role, I will support EBS' several affiliated organizations, including EBS Scouting, EBS Media, the EBS Internship Program, Hoop Exchange, JUCORecruiting.com, and the JUCO All-American Showcase, in all scouting and event operations. We've already had a busy Jamboree season featuring 250+ teams across 3 major HS/JUCO events in Florida and Kansas. I will be back on the road this fall/winter covering elite JUCO and HS games/tournaments across the country to provide best-in-class evaluations and insights to our 200+ EBS subscribers.

Awful news. I got to know Jaylon in July at our event in Atlanta. He was an amazing young man who was about all the right things. So impressive on and off the court.
Please keep Jaylon's family, Coach Steadman, and the Independence community in your thoughts.

Very thankful for this amazing opportunity to be the Head Coach at Florida SouthWestern State College! I love our players, staff and administration. Next weekend we will start our preseason by playing in the JuCo All American Jamboree held in Orlando, Florida.

Edgewater HS is building a serious contender in Orlando.
2027 staples Terrence Walker and Julian Fox have cemented themselves as a top-tier backcourt, but the production they'll get from 2028 Amir Elmahmoud and 2029 Bryce Benton will put them over the edge. Amir guards anybody and everybody, and Bryce looks like a future star.
Lots of intrigue out of the Eagles🦅
Exciting year ahead for Jacksonville-Trinity Christian.
2027 Ian Beaufort is a legitimate leader who can play many roles: scorer, facilitator or defensive enforcer. 2027 6'10 Amauri Walton proved that he's one of the state's best bigs on both ends. Improved body and mobility.
2029 duo of Ryder Jacobsen and Jaidyn Davis will both play major roles as well. Could be a great season for this crew.
Tai Bell has a case for Best Player in the Gym from this past weekend.
Has made strides scoring the ball, shooting well from distance + is a master at manipulating defenses to get clean looks at the rim. Exceptional playmaker, ball handler, and a consistent defender. Really has made strides in every area of his game.
Hard worker with a great attitude. Hard not to cheer for him. ELITE.
Miramar HS has put together as intriguing a 2027 duo as you can find at a public HS.
6'4 G Jayson Negrin flat out scores it. Tough competitor capable of scoring at all three levels but a real knack for finishing. 6'11 Ronald Germielle is a raw big man prospect but has true size and height that is worth investing in. Rare frame and exceptional wingspan. Plays for Haiti National Team.
Sleepers in South Florida 💤
Intriguing duo from this weekend: Daviss Jones and Madden Geiger, the new big-man tandem at Sickles.
Neither are traditional bigs: Geiger is a lights out shooter w/ guard fluidity and great physical tools. Jones is a rangy 6'7 F with elite energy, shot blocking feel, and exceptional rebounding prowess.
They're the two-way Yin/Yang for Tampa's best frontcourt and could the cornerstones of a vert competitive Green Wave team🌳
Wellington Sports Academy is a welcome addition to the national hoops scene in FL.
2028 6'4 Quinton Wilson headlines a loaded crew, back in Florida after time spent at OTE. The best athlete in the gym, Wilson's jumper looks clean and his decision making and ball skills have really blossomed.
2028 Chris Roberts, 2027 Izaaz Kornegay and 2027 Brisun Hammermeister all play huge roles as well. 2031 Christian Bell may be the country's best 8th grader.
A team to watch in year 1 🐺
Despite a loaded roster, Oak Ridge may have the state's biggest gem💎
2027 5'11 Whit Bynoe IV is a lights-out shooter, gifted ball handler and exceptional passer. Has shown that he can score against anybody. Plays well alongside his elite guard corps but can take over when needed.
Not certain there's a player more skilled with the ball in their hands in FL. Getting stronger + the numbers can't lie!
Fun team to watch this weekend: Cardinal Gibbons.
Play hard and the right way. 6'4 2028 Shamar Petigny is as underrated as anybody in the state, and KJ Ambrose (📷) is picking up right where big brother AJ left off last season. Well coached, physical, and up for the challenge.
Old faces + new talent for @VHS_Hoops.
Texas Tech-commit Aaron Britt Jr. and FAU-commit Jomar Bernard still carry the Buffalo's scoring load, but their new pieces bring the energy and intensity needed to compete with the best teams in the country.
6'5 Miles Simpson is a lightning bolt on the wing and a capable athlete who guards 1-5. And nobody plays harder than 6'8 Emmanuel Martin. Strong and capable post scorer and high-energy rebounder.
