Re-reading Hickman’s Avengers run at the mo and I feel like it’s only just fully hit me how GoT influenced this whole run really is. It’s all tribes, kingdoms, politicking, and factional feuding amid a catastrophic existential threat. Hell, ‘The Wheel’ metaphor’s even in here!
