PSA to all my friends just getting into the hobby (from someone who has been in it/worked in it for years):
Instant rip/gacha packs from Prize Picks, Underdog & Co. are a SCAM and the worst type of āgamblingā.
These people are lying about card values, loading them up with worthless cards, playing into addiction and giving influencers better pulls than you could ever hope for.
Donāt it. Buy the singles you want to collect or invest in, maybe the occasional hobby box or break.
Stop feeding into this garbage and listening to āinfluencersā being paid to shill this stuff PLEASE.
I think it's pretty clear after 1 day that the @Lakers are the favorites to win the Championship. Right?

As a Dodgers fan, nothing but respect for the @Brewers and the Milwaukee fans. An incredible team, grit, defense, pitching, great fan base. They got that dawg in em. Go win it all!

In todayās episode of the Dodgersā payroll buying championships.
Tommy Edman, picked up from the Cardinals at the 2024 deadline in a three-team deal. The Dodgers sent Miguel Vargas and two prospects to the White Sox and got Edman back from St. Louis. Then they extended him. 2026 cash is about $6 million after deferrals.
Teoscar HernĆ”ndez, signed after the Mariners didnāt even give him a qualifying offer.
Max Muncy, released by the Aās in 2017 and signed to a minor-league deal. He homered.
Andy Pages singled two of them in. He was an international signing.
Kyle Tucker advanced to third. That one they (over)paid for.
