I'm confused about this announcement. Does this mean Anycubic, has bought out Thingiverse, or just that they have an exclusive agreement to harvest models for their own site, out of Thingiverse as it stands now?
More to Discover. More to Print.
We're excited to announce an exclusive partnership between Anycubic and Thingiverse! 🤝
Through this collaboration, we plan to bring over 2 million 3D models to Makeronline and offer multicolor versions of selected models—giving you more creative inspiration and exciting new possibilities for your next print.
And this is just the beginning. Beyond expanding the model library, we share a bigger vision: to build a richer 3D printing ecosystem and deliver a great user experience—from discovering inspiring designs to bringing them to life.
Stay tuned for more to come!

In case you haven’t tried it out, the @BambulabGlobal AMS2 and AMS-HT, are some of the better dryers I’ve personally tested - they work MUCH better than the polydryers, do active air exchange and rolling the filament, and they’re already, you know, just sitting there with your printer.
I'd love to hear thoughts on these. curious how the top hat / AMS units will operate, Bambu teased the H3C's having a high temp compartment and some sort of switching capability for each tool to re-feed a 2nd roll when empty, I'm wondering if the smaller unit will have similar.

wild... basically making Wargs from LOTR.
Warhound, a defense‑tech startup founded by Palmer Luckey and Ben Lamm, has raised $200 million in seed funding to genetically engineer war dogs for the U.S. military.
Lamm is responsible for the de-extinction of the dire wolf which died out ~10,000 years ago.
Warhound will find top dogs and then biobank their genetic material before cloning the proven dogs.
The company will take the cell lines for top breeds like Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd before editing the genes to make the dogs perform better and improve “things like speed and agility or enhance olfactory sensors for bomb sniffing and whatnot.”
Luckey’s Anduril will supply the dogs with advanced body armor, ear coverings, and other military technology like EagleEye, an artificial intelligence military helmet.
Anduril is also reportedly working with META on battlefield augmented reality eyewear.
Lamm says the genetically modified dogs with advanced equipment will not only make the dogs safer, but will also make the human handlers safer.
The first Warhound puppies will reportedly soon be cloned and incubated and will be born in early 2027 and then will begin training.
I'm excited to see about this one. Since I have a H2C, I may not buy into it immediately, but I always love trying out new tech, and Bambu (other than X2D maybe, I mean come on Bowden extruder??) never disappoints!!

I’m working on a off grid power station for an EV - which is a ridiculous thing - but I have to share with you what a 180a circuit breaker / shutoff looks like for an EV-capable battery bank - I’m six foot 255lbs and look how tiny my hand is on this chungus unit! holy crap!
It’s hard for me to even fathom the skills here, to hold the helicopter so steady and come into hover over that side of the building so perfectly - and even the soldiers just have crazy trust and act like they’re kids being dropped off for school.
The filament drying-a-thon is going well - - 24 in the big bins plus 7 in cereal bins - 11 drying - 16 left to dry. Need two more bins plus I got a 12 pack of cereal bins coming. I just did inventory and I have 250 rolls of filament in my hobby area lol!!!
Apparently I hate myself - Instead of printing out another jumbo LEGO set, I decided to buy into what I think is a great mechanical project, a dual axis solar tracker (one axis is a turntable), that holds a big residential panel - paid up for the STLs and am examining things now... the INSANE part is that, best I can tell, the designer has been MIA, from his site or from Github, for at least 7 months, so I'm 100% on my own, and he did custom PCBs/controls. I'm going to build the mechanical part, and then sub in a Chinese generic controller and see if it'll work. The STLs pictured are part of the turn table, and are MASSIVE, this is a Bambu H2C plate, and those are only 30 degree segments. It'll take 3kg just to print the ring/gears. it sits on a 4-pack of 16" pavers (I'll likely expand it a bit to 24" pavers I think). Wish me luck!!!
A1 Mini, with AMS Lite minimized to just the feeders and mainboard - I got it doing a 2 color print right now!

I saw a similar pic on Bambu Lab's wiki, with the green arrows - so this isn't just a funny haha staged pic but it's been actually shared from official guidance lol!!!!! Oil those rubber belts!
Thing 1 and thing 2 - the tubes and bins are messy but all my filament stays dry and flexible this way and these printers are great for PLA print farming!!!
I’m using all my AMS for drying duty (9 spools) so I put a cereal box roller thing, on the external feed haha.
"rethinking" the door handle, is the biggest negative thing I've seen on EVs - why do companies keep having to make them weird.
Bring back manual handles.
We’ve somehow managed to reinvent the door handle and make it worse.
Electronic door handles solve a problem that never existed.
A tiny aerodynamic benefit isn’t worth compromising emergency access.
150 years of simple, reliable engineering sacrificed for aesthetics.
That’s not innovation.
It’s regression.
Prove me wrong.
