After a couple weeks of daily-driving #SailfishOS on the new Jolla Phone 2 (2026), here's my take on the European, privacy-first alternative to the Android and iOS duopoly! #Jolla #EuropeanPhone

Hot off the heels of Budgie 10.10.3, working on an item for 10.10.4 since we already have some fixes lined up for it.
Automatic hide & dock mode has been quirky since the move to Wayland, so this work is intended square away as much of that as possible!

I have now submitted for inclusion #Budgie Desktop from @BuddiesOfBudgie to @AerynOS_Linux 🥳
I fully expect that it will undergo thorough review and there'll be some fixes I need to do (new to packaging for #aerynOS specifically), but we're closer to the finish line!

I've now updated the #Budgie Desktop stack to 10.10.3 in #Fedora 46 (rawhide). Will sanity check it on the nightly ISO and assuming all looks good, I'll merge it into Fedora 45 tomorrow and check if I need to file any exceptions to get it landed for the release.

We're excited to announce #Budgie 10.10.3! It adds favorites to Budgie Menu, brings back the Keyboard Layout applet, lets you choose your primary monitor, introduces free placement of desktop icons, improves our labwc integration, and more.

I know quite a few folks have been asking for it and well, here it is (coming soon). #Budgie Desktop packaged up and running on @AerynOS_Linux
Budgie 10.10.3 is right around the corner, so I'll be holding off on submitting it until we ship that within the next couple weeks.

Once Budgie 10.10.3is tagged, it'll be full steam ahead. We'll be able to add yet another operating system to our Get Budgie page 🎉 More options the merrier!

RIP probably not getting two tickets unless these are absolutely enormous theaters. Still crossing my fingers though.
Finally got navidrome set up today. Now comes the challenge of getting a billion and one FLACs. Fortunately 7digital has plenty on offer.
Been binging content from Media Division on YouTube as of late. Insanely good production quality and in-depth videos if you're interested in #cinematography. Very highly recommended.

Heads up for those in Finland, if you're looking for a really solid external capture device, in this case the Elgato Game Capture 4K S, Gigantti has a really good deal on it at the moment. Currently 140e, usually 180e+ (depending on the store).

I already have one that I've used for streaming, so don't really need another, but this'll be one of the best deals you can find on it.
For Linux users, elgato4k-linux from github.com/13bm/elgato4k-lin… worked flawlessly with it.
Smart solution for cheaper CF Express cards. Never would have thought there'd be NVMe 2230 to CFExpress enclosures.

Just a nice picture of some rowan berries (pihlajanmarja). #plants #nature #photography

Not bad for just a bit over a day across YouTube and MakerTube! Especially given how rarely I post content 😄
