Our Dec. 8 court date in front of the 15th court of appeals has been canceled.
Our case will now be heard in front of the new court in 2027. The date has not yet been set but we are optimistic for this opportunity.
New: Texas appeals court that flipped to Dem from GOP cancels Dec. 8 argument in challenge to state smokable THC ban.
Decision will be left to Dem replacements.

Announcement:
I will no longer be taking corporate PAC money or any special interest money tied to foreign policy. This cycle, I was able to raise around $4 million this cycle with a large portion in small-dollar donations. I will be one of a handful of elected officials who will not take this money anymore, and I think that’s incredibly important for the American people.
More elected officials should do it, but campaign finance is a double-edged sword, and it can be incredibly expensive to run for office, so some are unable to do so at this point until they build up a bigger support base.
It is important to lead by example.
