Absolutely heartbreaking news. Doug didn't just stand by the us when times were tough, he helped drive us forward. That will always be remembered by so many. Fly high, Valiant. 🤍
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former captain, Doug Loft, who passed away at the age of 39 following a medical emergency.
We send our love to Doug's family, friends and former teammates at this difficult time.

16 years ago, I went to New York & watched the Knicks play Basketball. When I got home, I watched the next game & then every game after. It was the start of my love affair with New York sport. I just had no idea I'd wait so long for a championship. But we finally did it NY!! 🧡💙

Stamford Bridge was stunning, but the performance & the season as a whole has been grotesque. It's never dull being a Valiant though. Two promotions, two relegations, FA Cup QF, League Cup QF all in the last five years. Eight games left to endure 🫣 I'll see 4000 of you Tuesday
I've questioned my own sanity more than once this season, turning up week after week knowing I'll receive nothing but disappointment in return. But days like this are exactly why we do it.
Because we're FA Cup quarter-finalists!
And that's the reason why I love you like I do 🤍
What a comical game of football that was. No matter how bad we are this season, there will always be one team worse than us, and that's the team in all black... We'll desperately take those three points though! With Barnsley up next, there's now a chance to build some momentum.
