The switch from him saying “super Chels” to “you drew the second half” is perfect

This geezer and his pals are the true voice of Sheffield Wednesday. There when it mattered.
Proper ✊💙
Every scarf handed out in the pissing rain.
Every late night planning, arguing, pushing, not knowing if it’d even land.
Black and gold everywhere.
Projectors lighting up Hillsborough.
Aeroplanes.
Digi vans
Leaflets
Marches
Late entrances
Tennis balls
Whistles
Tai embassy
Massive banners
Black Balloons
More leaflets
More WatsApp groups than points
Boycotts that hurt to stick to.
Not buying shirts for our kids.
Thousands of us stood our ground.
Took the stick. Took the doubt. Kept going anyway.
We raised money when it mattered.
We showed the world what this fanbase is about.
We backed each other when everything around us was falling apart.
And now look at it.
A new beginning on the horizon.
A club that’s got a chance again.
A fanbase that’s together, loving it’s football club.
Was it worth it?
Course it f*****g was

Think this is a key debate. It’s not just, how many will we sell? it’s what would it take to get people to buy again? Price matters, but so does feeling like it’s a reset and fair value is returned.

It may be an unpopular opinion on Yan Valery, but he’s 26-years-old and a few months out from playing in his first World Cup…
If there’s another option, why risk missing out on the world’s biggest tournament to play in pointless football games that will 100% end in relegation?
Josh schofield retweeted
With the news Valery is potentially off, having touched on Svante and Bannan as players who can hold their heads and high, Valery is another. Been a class act and led by example too. Another one I would wish well and he would a good signing for anyone #swfc

The comments made about another one of our young players over the last 24 hours is again not good to see - putting it mildly.
20 years old. A full international.
16 senior goals at 20 years old.
8 goals in half a season in the league we are going to.
A host of championship clubs monitoring him. Past PL interest.
New bid from an SPL team.
Verdict from Owls twitter - not good enough.
I don't care how many people unfollow me or don't like what I'm about to say, but this is (part) of the reason why young players never reach their potential at this club and leave. And part of the reason why we do not have the success other clubs have who have a salubrious environment for young players to play.
Players read these tweets and are very aware of what is being said.
Cadz has such a high ceiling. His physical attributes demand he play at L1 for his entire career at a very minimum.
A little refining of his technical ability, movement and game understanding will determine where he lads.
He could go right the way to the top and be a PL striker if he gets it right. However, that becomes more and more unlikely when a 20 year old is reading comments online that our fans will drive him to Scotland for what is an undervalue bid. It knocks their confidence.
And honestly, it makes me think we deserve our current situation of this is how we treat our young players.

Both sets of fans deploying their coping mechanisms because they’re both scared of losing. Both sets of fans are pitching their tents for the “beating us is not that much of an achievement because we are shit” excuse.
That’s the reality. Whoever loses, that’ll be the excuse.

Michael Smith and Josh Windass both scoring on a day that #SWFC have once again struggled for a finishing touch is another reminder of the damage that Chansiri’s mismanagement did to the club.
Absolutely criminal getting to a point where those two could walk away for free.

Hint of a foul early on in the Steel Derby from David Hirst…
Not to worry, it’s not as if he’ll grab a late equaliser or anything 🤔

Following the uplifting cup win by our young team against Bolton, we asked members whether they wanted the boycott on spending money at SWFC to be extended to attending the Leeds game.
82% of votes were in favour. In line with our members’ wishes, we are urging all Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust members not to attend this match in person and instead watch it on TV.
The Trust has set up this GoFundMe for any fans who would have ordinarily attended the game to donate the ticket money to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity instead:

We recognise this is a big step to extend the boycott to match tickets, but the situation at the club continues to deteriorate. July’s salary payments were missed, our squad has been decimated, and there is still no visible progress towards a sale of the club.
We also acknowledge that some Wednesday fans will still choose to attend the game, and we respect their decision to do so.
