This week, @TalkingCityFC signs off. Fittingly, the curtains will come down just a few weeks after we surpassed 100,000 all-time views on our articles, which we’ve been writing since 2019, an achievement that I’m very proud of. Thank you to MCFC and all who’ve supported us.

This month I'm raising $ for the Lost Dogs Home in Nth Melbourne in honour of my dog Archie who just passed away. They take in 49 pets a day and I'll always be grateful to them for connecting me with Archie. Funds will be matched so any small amount counts facebook.com/share/CmZ5P8gfH…

If you thought stadium security couldn't get any lower, how about taking a balloon from baby? Couldn't make this stuff up.
POST-MATCH | Last night asked the question of Melbourne City: Are you ready to compete for finals? The answer, against a Newcastle side that was winless in nine games, was no.

@mattmcindoe returns for a 'Talking City Up Late' pod as he, @mikeymifsud, @JoshGribling and @JoshtotheGrech try to keep it together to discuss City's recent transfer business.
Yelling out Shoot Farken works. Proof: Our last four goals have come from outside the 18-yard box, our last goal from inside was five games ago in that goalfest against Brisbane Roar.
POST-MATCH | Very much a 'take the points and move on' performance from the boys as we wait for squad reinforcements to arrive. Here's what else we learned from a 1-0 win at home to Adelaide:

Are we finally tapping into our potential this season? Or are Brisbane just that bad at the moment? The answer us probably six of one, half a dozen of the other
