@evrisupportline I struggle to comprehend how a business can continue to operate in such an unapologetically poor manner. If a parcel is to be sent by Evri, my heart sinks. Prefer @parcelforce @AmazonUK
#evri could be the start of the end for couriers. Companies like #dpd or #royalmail could suffer from people being reticent to purchase online for fear of suffering the utter shitshow that is #Evri’s service
Utterly floored this evening as I’ve had to make the most difficult decision about my best mate. I took him for granted these last few months. We are going to miss him so much.
I’m looking for a very special Manager for a large dairy business with exemplary performance. These opportunities don’t come up very often. People management, process management and the right attitude is what’s needed. uk.indeed.com/m/viewjob?jk=a…
This is how my simple mind thinks but am I missing something? Are we tackling methane because we think we are part of the problem? Or are we tackling methane as a solution to someone else’s problem - but not claiming credit?
Our childcare fees have increased by around 20%. An understandable implication of National Insurance and Minimum wage changes. I do wonder how that could influence working parents decision making 🤔. I suspect it could put pressure on businesses for more flex/PT working
Are you putting off a conversation? Just get yourself registered and see what happens - you can just listen… or keep putting it off. Lots of work gets you to where you are so it comes with lots of fear of ‘losing it’
Morning everyone 👋 This is my final plea for you to get booked on to these events if you can. They’re a great opportunity for anyone working in the industry. ahdb.org.uk/discuss-the-undi…
👉🏻 succession is not just about £, conversations are a vital part of it
👉🏻 communication is an essential skill for everyone (and we’re not great at is as humans. Full stop.)
👉🏻 conversations don’t have to end in conflict if you get your words right
👉🏻 having open conversations and building trust with your kids is important right from the start, not just when they’re old enough to ‘take over’ the farm
👉🏻 open communication gets everyone on the same page. It reduces stress and improves mental health.

My friend had sheep stolen this week. It’s a big hit for a couple who are really having a go with a new tenancy. You can support by message or donation justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…
Balance please!
In response to @DrBrianMay's appearance on @BBCTheOneShow to promote "Brian May: The Badgers, the Farmers, and Me", where he dismissed peer-reviewed science on badgers and TB, AHDB's lead vet Sarah Tomlinson @sjtomo157 addresses the importance of sticking to facts.

Today is National Bereaved Parents Day 🩷🩵
As a charity supporting many bereaved families, we feel that it is important to join this initiative to highlight the wonderful parents out there who have experienced the loss of a child.

AHDB’s ‘Take That tribute act’. Was a stimulating session about innovation with legumes in grassland with Paul Billings, Rob Richmond and Prof John Gilliland. Only 53% (av) of temporary grasslands use clovers - in the East of England, it is 24%. Start with the win-wins!
Disgusting. No place for this anywhere. If you hear people talk like this or make insinuations, call it out!
Clover - (please share). If you missed it, catch up on the recordings here. Feedback has been excellent! ahdb.org.uk/curious-about-cl…

170 farms are to have their carbon footprint measured to create a more accurate picture of the emissions they produce and the carbon they sequester.
