🇨🇳Chinese researchers have released a free AI platform for DNA screening aimed at improving the diagnosis of rare diseases and access to personalized medicine. The tool is designed to identify genetic mutations associated with difficult-to-diagnose conditions.
The project fits into Beijing's overall commitment to building domestic capacity in AI biotechnology and medical research. Open access reduces barriers for hospitals and researchers, especially in regions where genomic analysis tools and precision medicine remain expensive or limited.
