Appreciate the authenticity of this story as I begin my term as @ASHEoffice President. Humanizing also means being vulnerable & sharing your story. I appreciate the empowering words from @DrJFLJackson & @DrJLMooreIII — brothers of the academy who do good work & mentor others!
An expert on intercollegiate sports, Dr. @JoyGayles took the helm of @ASHEoffice this week—becoming only the second Black woman and the fifth Black person—to lead the 46-year-old organization that focuses on the study of higher education.

@j4gayles showed extremely well last weekend! Freak athlete with big time physicality paired with some growing offensive tools makes him a fun ‘27 to watch for👀
Excited to watch him & the rest of our 16u Scout group at Black Bear next week‼️
