"For us at JTON Productions, in the past 17 years we have become Africa’s gateway to the Western world.. JTON was amongst the pioneer imprints involved in pushing the Afrobeats music in the USA from the get go. All of Psquare’s tours between 2010 & 2017 were organized by JTON.."
However, legal and contractual disputes cannot be tried by social media mob pressure.
@JtonGroup will not be bullied by false narratives, online attacks and public misinformation into abandoning it's contractual and lawful rights.
UPDATE (4): Despite these outstanding obligations, she bypassed all parties to the agreement and proceeded to release the EP under another distribution company.
We understand that public sympathy can be powerful, especially where an artist has a strong fan base...

Before you come to my mentions I’ll leave this here because of the trolls. I have nothing to prove to no one…I know what’s really going on behind the scene and I just hate to see JOY TONG’S name and reputation been thrown ridiculed by these trolls. Let the lawyers do their job.
Dear @joytongo pls I beg you Let this Qing Madi girl go. I understand your Pain and Anger but There’s no shortage Of Star Talent in Nigeria. You go see artiste wey go help you Recoup. This news is doing A Larger harm to our Industry as a Whole. Investors are hard enough to see nowadays and Stories like this chases New Ones away. It also makes artistes more wary and thereby Harder to sign both for you, Your label and for others. I’m not here to argue who’s right or wrong. Pls forgive & forget, & let her go abeg. I knee down dey beg you. For our Industry’s sake abeg.. cc @joytongo 💝

🚨 Joy Tongo (Founder of Qing Madi's former label, JTON) responded via IG Story last night 🤔
— "Also, the injunction is ruling is why we can issue a legal takedown now, what case have you won? Because last time I checked the case still hasn't gone to trial"
"She stole from me, did a bunch of weird things like forging my signature. She sued me for $2M & she lost the case. She took down "Pepper Me", I worked with my team to prove it's an illegal takedown. They went through the corners again to take down the project"
— Qing Madi speaks on her former label boss via Tik Tok live 🗣️
