I tried telling a friend currently out of work for medical stuff (no insurance) to apply just for a few months… just as a crutch.
She gets $1800/mo from her VA benefits, minus her car payment, home insurance, car insurance.. etc.. she’s got diddly squat leftover for food..
According to the EBT calculator she’d get $25/mo.. the minimum allowed.
Yet I know another chick who brings in maybe $400/wk take home w no dependents…no insurances or rent to pay(parents pay)..n she gets $280/mo for EBT?!????

ATF Releases NFA guidance in response to the Texas NFA lawsuit:
"Effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation."
