I went to see two of these tonight - the play English Kings which was brilliantly performed, entertaining and thought provoking and Ayoade Bamgboye - a stunning hour - real virtuoso performance - very funny and deft 👏 delighted to have a R4 pilot with Ayoade on the cards 😃

🎺Here’s the most important announcement anywhere in the world today….. the new series of In Town starts tonight at 6.30 on Radio 4 and then the longer version on BBC Sounds from this evening. Tonight is lovely Rutland, with a fine cameo from Clare Balding🎺

Great night in Cambridge for the final recording of the new run of @mrmarksteel In Town. Audience very up for it. As a former producer of the show I know how much work goes into ‘em! The new series starts next Tuesday in Oakham in the UK’s smallest county, Rutland.
