I can write voluminous pages of intricate, impassioned ideas (albeit probably illegible) in a few minutes but I cannot manage to do the simplest of errands without major procrastination and struggle.

Psychology shows that people who’ve experienced significant trauma may stay calm in high-stress situations, but feel overwhelmed by small inconveniences, because their nervous system has adapted to survive extremes, not stability.. 1//5

Evil prefers to hide in plain sight as something you can trust. That’s part of what makes it evil.

The hardest thing for normal people to grasp about a malignant narcissist is how far their dishonesty goes.
It isn't only spin or exaggeration.
It's deliberate fabrication, used as an act of violence against someone who did nothing wrong but threatened the narcissist’s ego.

Narcissists will often “give” you something they know you won’t like—whether it’s a gift, a meal, an outing, or “help”.
It’s not a mistake. It’s a setup. They want to control your reaction, shame you for being “ungrateful,” and rewrite the story so they look generous while you look difficult. It’s never about the gift—it’s about power. It’s their way of looking like they’ve given you something without actually giving you anything.
This referent power and parasociality thing is weird. People thinking that proximity to celebrity blows magic pixie dust at them, or something. Please get real.!

I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points.

There’s a certain dynamic in “helping” culture. “Look at us! We help people, please give us money to do that!” Then you ask them for help. Then they say you’re not worthy enough to help. So this is s scam.
I don’t know if I am hypersensitive but when people say mean things and do weird shit to me, I definitely do not, “Let it go.” I’m also going to tell everybody. Abuse happens when people are isolated.!
Twitter is an Education. There are some amazing people here, except for the ones I had to Block. LOL.!
So the idea, then, is for them to hoard wealth, display it fragrantly, and put people through humiliation rituals and degradation to get it.!
Oh, I see. Moving Goalposts is Capitalist incentivization. They say if you do this then you will be rewarded. Except you never are.!
I found out that the possibly fake St. Vincent's guy's daughter is an accomplished attorney and staunch gay marriage and LGBT civil rights advocate while he is collecting money for and representing the Catholic Church. And talking to me as if I was an irresponsible child.?
People who have this abuser mentality think that they only have to respect powerful, high-status people and they can shit on people who are identified as, "Low-Status.".!
That dude who owns the neighbouring property and threatened to cut down my tree had told me that because sometimes my yard is messy and I have cats that he could do whatever he wanted. LOL.!
The, “Moving Goalposts” thing in malignant abuse is a form of sadism. The abuser (often representing a morality-based power structure) enjoys having resource power/hoarding over something the vulnerable victim needs or wants. They revel in making them grovel to get it. Sick.!
What shook me up the most about this experience with this possibly fake St. Vincent de Paul guy was that it wasn’t “Sorry we can’t help (insert reason) but that he kept implying he would help if I completed quests. Then when I did he only gave me more conditions and excuses.!
Scapegoating attempts to make a personal problem ("You're a total Loser!") out of a public issue. (Systemic.).!
