Tattoos: where art meets science! Last year I opened Old Marine Arts Group, a tattoo/art/clothing studio in Muswell Hill with TomCatTatt & VRocMed. Both great artists but science matters too. See my newly published article in The Biologist @RoyalSocBio #tattoo @inmuswellhill #art

Delighted and deeply honoured to showcase the beautiful artwork of my late brother’s best friend, Dr Manus  (Nat) Jompru, who cared for him so kindly during his illness. Nat’s art carries deep meaning and reflects his Thai heritage #ArtInspiration artattart.com/ 🖤 🇹🇭

We have some fantastic prints in our new Old Marine Arts Group studio. This one is of an ink drawing by Dr Manus Jompru, a very dear friend in Thailand. It showcases a traditional Isaan tattoo symbolising masculinity & strength #tattoo #artprint #Thailand artattart.com

It’s World Suicide Prevention Day. Suicide’s the biggest killer of people under 35. If someone you know seems unusually withdrawn or sad. ask if they feel suicidal. Not easy, but listen, take them seriously & seek support. @MindCharity #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #mentalhealth

No ISOs although I did write a couple of SOPSs 😅

Turns out tattooing & piercing aren’t a giant leap from microbiology: clean & dirty areas in the studio, aseptic techniques, autoclaving, ultrasonic cleaning, vaccinations, RIDDOR, COSHH and council inspections for compliance. And a daily cleaning regime #hygiene #microbiology

Brand new start! Haven’t posted for a while because a new project took over my life. Good to go now. Opened a tattoo and piercing studio today at 95 Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill. Exciting times ahead #tattooart #newbusinessowner #piercing #tattoo @MuswellHillNews
