Maybe you shouldn't use a priceless one of a kind engine prop in fan project without at least servicing/ maintain it first. Watching the poor thing struggle shows a clear lack of maintenance or care. But what do i know i'm just a guy thats knows how to work with models...

You don't see people walking around in 1977 stormtrooper costumes, you don't see 1970s muppet props being puppeteered, you don't see Mr. Roger's sweater taken out of the Smithsonian to be worn for entertainment, and you shouldn't see the Thomas props running at a theme park
