Linktober Day 24 - Princess - The First Princess of Hyrule, Chiara
Another OC creation of mine. My concept for a child of Sonia and Rauru. She may not have inherited much of her father's animalistic traits, but she is visibly a child of both of them.

I felt kinda sick this evening so I FINALLY took the time to get going with Metroid Prime 4 and honestly so far I'm having a blast. Yeah it's not very challenging stuff but I'm having a great time.
And I find Myles charming, even adorable. Geeky sweetheart. Not annoying at all.

Oh yeah, I finally beat Skyward Sword.
So first for the final battle, the waves of monsters to Ghirahim were kinda annoying. Then the Ghirahim fight itself, I expected to be harder. Demise kicked my ass until I figured out the best way to beat him, then the battle went fast.

That being said, the ending was incredibly bitter sweet with parting from Fi and Impa. The emotionality and side characters of this game are absolutely peak. Groose has some of the best development in the series. And it may not be a popular opinion, but I liked Fi as companion.

Linktober Day 15 - Zelda
Used this as a chance to draw a portrait of my OC Zelda from my AU TLoZ: Remnants of the Past. Only a young teenager, but with the fate of the world in her hands.
I only had sprites and sketches of her, not a detailed portrait until now.
Respectfully, no.
I have used 3d models & real life references and I'm gonna take this a step further and say that occasionally tracing real life photos can do wonders for anatomy skills. Not the only thing I do, but it helped me loads in figuring out muscle and bone structure.
The things I learned from that I can much better apply onto new works.
And even then, sometimes it's a helpful tool to speed things up. For artists who use it effectively, often you can't tell if they traced it off of a base, because they already built up the necessary skill.
