If you can only see what's in front of your face, then you're easier to manipulate
They’re not teaching math. They’re teaching dependency.
If a child can only solve 8 + 3 by touching dots on the 3, they didn’t learn addition. They learned a workaround that collapses the second the dots disappear. This is the opposite of competence.
I’m now convinced our kids are being intentionally setup to fail by our education system
American parent has her child show the new way they are being taught to do math
This is the most insane thing you’ll ever see. You just need to see this for yourself…. Apparently this is called TouchMath and instead of doing math, you just count dots on letters
No Math is being done here

GENTLEMEN, WE MAY HAVE A PROBLEM. 😏
It’s a lamp. A perfectly innocent household lamp.
Yet somehow I suspect a few of you needed a second look before figuring that out.
Ladies, I’m beginning to understand why you question what goes on inside our heads.
In our defence, sometimes the imagination gets there before common sense does. 😉🤣

BRAZIL IS A WAKE-UP CALL THE WORLD CANNOT AFFORD TO IGNORE. ⚔️🚨‼️
When election rules are changed at the eleventh hour, when millions of citizens question the outcome, and when those in power expect everyone to simply accept the result, there had better be answers.
Not excuses. Not political speeches. Answers backed by evidence.
I don’t care whether it’s Brazil, Canada, America or anywhere else.
No political establishment owns democracy. No institution deserves blind trust. And no citizen should be expected to surrender their right to question those in power.
If the system is legitimate, open the records, answer the challenges and let the evidence speak.
Democracy belongs to the people. Never to the political class.

I’M GOING TO DO SOMETHING I DON’T OFTEN DO. I’M GOING TO ASK FOR HELP. 🏡🐾🐾🍂
I know asking for help isn’t exactly fashionable around here, but then again, I’ve never done much the conventional way.
I’m just a semi-retired construction bum who decided to step outside his comfort zone and try his hand at something completely different.
When I started this page, I didn’t know much about social media. Truthfully, some days I still don’t.
But somewhere along the way, this little Cabin journey became something that means a great deal to me. Something I’ve poured my time, imagination, and a good piece of myself into.
And I’d really like to see how far I can take it.
So tonight, I’m asking something of the good people who’ve chosen to walk alongside me.
If you believe this page is worth sharing, would you help me introduce it to a few more people?
Maybe a shoutout, a recommendation, an introduction to your followers, or simply sharing something I’ve created that you enjoyed.
Whatever you’re comfortable with. No obligations. No expectations.
I don’t believe anyone gets very far in this life entirely on their own. I’ve always believed good people helping good people can accomplish things neither could manage alone.
And if there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that there are still an awful lot of good people in this world.
To everyone who’s already helped me get this far, thank you. I haven’t forgotten a single kindness.
I’m not ready to give up on what I’m building here. Not even close.
And perhaps, with a little help from my friends, the best chapters of this Cabin story are still waiting to be written.

A LITTLE HALLOWEEN STEAMPUNK MAGIC FROM THE CABIN. 🎃⚙️🏡🐾🐾
Well, neighbours, it appears Shadow, Moon and I have taken a rather unusual detour this morning.
A little Victorian engineering, a little Halloween mischief, and just enough whiskey to make the whole adventure seem perfectly reasonable.
I’m not entirely sure where this contraption is taking us, but I’ve never been a man to turn down a good adventure.
Happy Halloween week, neighbours! 🇨🇦🇺🇸🎃

AWFUL: Charges have been dropped against Syesiha Johnson for leaving her 31-week-old baby in the toilet.
Johnson found out she was pregnant at 20 weeks and ordered the abortion pill. It apparently didn't kill the baby because she gave birth at 31 weeks and left her baby in the toilet.
Durhan, North Carolina district attorney Satana Deberry is an abortion activist.
She dropped the charges and nothing will happen to Johnson.
She said, “I’ve been on the record, over and over again, saying that I believe a woman has the right to choose and has the right to make decisions about her own body. And we will review the evidence in this case in that light.”
This little baby is NOT a woman's body. He is she is a human being whose life matters.
Do these people think things like this offend us? This is something I'd expect from 14 year olds in the early 2000s. Are atheists so bankrupt for ideas they have to recycle from edgelords of 20 years ago to attempt to get a rise out of people?
Are they one and the same? 🤔

NEVER let someone outside the Church try to tell you what Holy Mother Church teaches.
1992 CCC 600
To God, all moments of time are present in their immediacy. When therefore he establishes his eternal plan of "predestination", he includes in it each person's free response to his grace: "In this city, in fact, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place." For the sake of accomplishing his plan of salvation, God permitted the acts that flowed from their blindness.”

The matter is easy. It is catholic teaching that God unconditionally determined who will be saved and who will burn forever. No matter how hard you try, if you are reprobate, you will burn. If you neglect but are elect, you'll repent.

Communism is antithetical to life itself. 100 million+ dead from it, and people will INSIST that's because it hasn't been tried CORRECTLY yet! 🙄

"This is what the Left has never understood, and why it is capable of nothing more than hate-filled mockery. When it spits on the flag, pisses on the eternal flame, jeers as the old farts in berets march past – to cite just some of the more obvious examples – it does so in the most dreadfully serious way, like 'dumbasses,' the Left might itself say, were it capable of self-critique. The true Right is not serious. This is why the Left hates it, rather like a hangman must hate a victim who laughs and jokes on his way to the gallows. The Left is a conflagration that devours and consumes in deadly earnest. All appearances notwithstanding, its parties are as grim as one of those parades of puppets in Nuremberg or Beijing. The Right is a flickering flame that gaily dances, a jack-o’-lantern in the gloomy forest reduced to ashes."

this is not a small group of people on the left anymore, but a large, dominant faction without whom democrats can’t win elections. and there is no debating them, because they aren’t interested in changing your mind. they just earnestly want you to die.
