Ursula, take note:
“ Your Commission is unaccountable, unelected, and arrogant-you know, like the former USSR.
The appropriate acronym for you is USER: United Socialist European Republic.
No thanks, but nice of you to consider us.
Best regards,
Sue”
I would love @MarkJCarney to read this and then explain what he means by “shared values” with UAE, China, Turkey Etc
Maybe @DeanAllisonMP could ask him in the HoC??

Carney has a problem with over exercising authority and making decisions on reducing our sovereignty to a European Commission. He is a fraud. We have our own constitution and we do not need a European commission administering any of our sovereign decisions. As such even European nations such as Iceland recently rejected membership and others already under the Commission are fighting back.
Replying to @PaulPlamondon
You Sir are not a team player. You were inviting along with the Premiers of other provinces, instead you stomp your feet because You are not allowed to make a speech?
You and Blanchett, have a problem with diplomacy.
You are a weak player abd you clearly have an agenda. You will never be Prime Minister .

With trust in the Canadian judiciary eroding, Chief Justice Wagner has an opportunity to show Canadians he is serious about earning it back. Recusing himself is the right thing to do, and the entire country knows it whether they supported the Freedom Convoy or not.
Justice must not only be done; it must also be seen to be done.
@ChrisBarber1975
Can Canadians expect an impartial hearing when the Chief Justice has already publicly condemned the Freedom Convoy?
In this column, John Carpay argues that Justice Richard Wagner’s past remarks raise serious questions about judicial impartiality and why he should recuse himself from the Emergencies Act appeal.

“The silence from Liberal MPs is not just deafening—it is complicit. Women in Carney’s caucus and cabinet are staring directly at a regime where marital rape is legal and a wife can be punished for withholding sex, and they are choosing trade over every principle they claim to hold.” @MarkJCarney @DeanAllisonMP @CTV @CBCNews @globalnews
Ok news outlets, why aren’t you asking the important questions? We want answers!!

Trade deals with the wrong parties are doing Canada more harm than good.
“We take their money and their temporary workers; they take neither our citizens nor our standards.”
I reposted this earlier and have deleted it, due to my inaccuracy in the post. There are no witnesses or costs associated with it. There will be lawyers and judges only. Let’s hope the SCC gets it right!!
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the government’s Emergencies Act appeal. Today’s decision allows the appeal to proceed. It does not overturn the Federal Court of Appeal’s judgment or determine whether the government acted lawfully.
“Two courts have already found that the federal government exceeded its legal authority,” said John Carpay, President of the Justice Centre. “We are disappointed that Canadians face another stage in this lengthy legal battle, but granting permission to appeal does not vindicate the government’s actions.”

I e had some serious discussions with Sue on this and we both agree it needs to go all the way to the SCC. If not we will end up with another government in the future who will pull the same crap. Let’s hope the SCC gets it right.
🚨 BREAKING: The Supreme Court of Canada will hear the federal government’s appeal over its invocation of the Emergencies Act.
Two levels of court. Four judges. All found that the federal government acted outside its legal authority.
Yet the government has decided to spend more taxpayers’ money fighting those rulings, all the way to the Supreme Court.
When this began with extraordinary emergency powers used against citizens protesting government policy, we really have to question what the government is spending public money to defend: the public interest, or its own power to silence political opposition?
What is the value to Canadians? What is the point? How does this serve the public?
Why must citizens spend years paying to challenge government overreach in court, while also funding the government’s lawyers through their taxes? Why is it so hard for government to respect people’s rights and do the right thing in the first place? How is any of this reasonable or fair?
Canadians are left paying both sides of a legal battle that should never have been necessary. Imagine if the government put that same effort and those resources into serving the public.
Doesn’t that sound nice?!

Just to be clear 50+1 is not enough under the clarity act. Today is vote day and Mark Carney is scared!!
Tonight at 8:00pm EST we are having a special space to cover the Alberta Referendum. Hope to see you there.
I can see that whatever happens in tomorrow’s Alberta Referendum, the loser will blame what happened in Wainwright as the reason. Please respect all members and families of the CAF who are affected.
This chick too!! I hope Alberta gets yes to 1-9 and option 2 on #10.
We’ll be discussing this live tomorrow night on @2ChicksPolitics please join in.
