Men say “I’m okay” when not, because what are you going to do?
The answer, often at best, is -provide them pity-.
But it’s hard to heavily pity someone while maintaining full respect. & without respect you dont feel like a man. & close ones worrying about you is an added problem.
Our infatuation with social media is more deeply connected to our loneliness than we suspect.
In an earlier time, there were no cameras & no phones; we would find people to actively co-share our lives & experiences with.

It’s very important to recognize the difference between -missing what you had- & -missing what you thought you had-.
Men go through a divorce, then try to get their amount of money back.
Women go through a divorce, then try to get their amount of attention back.
The men often end up at new jobs,
And the woman often end up in new sections
I know I’m getting older, cause I have no desire to be out during Halloween.
I’d much rather be peacefully laid up instead.
But on the flip side though… greeks and Romans knew so little, that when their intellectuals came back from learning in Africa, they received credit for nearly all of education, & all the sciences.

A man has to be willing to die for his woman; & a woman has to be willing to live for her man.
This is part of why women tend to heal from relationships quicker: It’s easier to change what you’re willing to live for than it is to change what you’re willing to die for.
